Classroom interactions among Ms. Talleur and her students were generally respectful.
Students listened attentively to both Ms. Talleur and their peers during the classroom
discussion.
The school vision and academic integrity statements were displayed on the wall
contributing to an atmosphere of respect, a culture for learning and demonstrating
the teachers commitment to supporting school expectations.
Ms. Talleurs established signal for attention prompted students to transition from
individual activity back to whole class instruction seamlessly.
Ms. Talleur maximized instructional time by using the portion of the lesson where
students were engaged in independent activity to help individual students that
required additional assistance.
Student behavior was entirely appropriate.
Ms. Talleur walked around spending time in each area of the classroom.
The seating arrangement was appropriate for the learning activity.
