Definicin:
En esta asignatura se presentar una visin general de los alcances y los logros de la
civilizacin angloamericana, al igual que la influencia que ha ejercido sobre Amrica
Latina en general y sobre Venezuela en particular.
Objetivos:
Conocer los orgenes del actual predominio norteamericano en el marco mundial.
Concienciar a los estudiantes de algunos factores angloamericanos que han influenciado la
forma presente de la sociedad venezolana, para que reconozcan qu es propio de Venezuela
y qu ha sido importado y, en algunos casos, criollizado.
