This is to certify that Mr. Altamas Nazmuddin Bala has been a bona fide student of
Anjuman College of Engineering & Technology from July 2001 onwards for the four year
Bachelors Degree course (BE) in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering of Rashtrasant
Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University. He had completed his degree course in July 2008.
Mr. Altamas Nazmuddin Bala is applying for graduate studies at your institute. He is a

Following is the detailed examination scheme prescribed for the degree course in Electronics
& Telecommunication Engineering of R.T.M.Nagpur University, along with his performance in the
examination:

: July 2001 to July 2008
1. All subjects are compulsory, except in seventh and eighth semester where student chooses the
Elective I (one out of three subjects) and a topic for seminar in seventh semester. Also
Elective II (one out of three subjects) and the project in eight semester.
2. University follows annual pattern for the first year. Exam is held once a year during summers.
3. University follows semester pattern for the rest three years. Exam is held twice a year during
winters and summers.
4. Each lecture is of 1 hour duration.
5. Theory papers include 40% marks for passing; practical examinations require a minimum 50%
of marks for passing.
6. A student can be awarded a maximum of 15 marks to the total marks of the year as Grace, as
per Ordinance no. 7-(A) and Ordinance no.10 of University.
7. University does not employ the Grade Point Average (GPA) system but uses an aggregate of
the student in a year to award classes as follows:

NOTE:
1.
Division is granted on performance of the third year (fifth and sixth semester) and final year
(seventh and eight semesters) examination as mentioned in the final year (eight semester)
transcripts.
2.
Grading system is not based on relative grading and hence we are not in a position to furnish
the marks in cumulative grade point average (C.G.P.A.).
