The last few weeks we have gone over a few various aspects about the tithes and offerings.

We know
from the beginning God instituted the tithe and the offering beginning from The Garden of Eden.
Gen 2:16 & 17
Gen 2:16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest
freely eat:
Gen 2:17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: (because that was
the tithe and then God told the consequence of touching the tithe) for in the day that thou eatest thereof
thou shalt surely die. (Which was a spiritual death being away from God, however natural death did
follow).
We also talked about how everything is God's in
Psalms 50:9-12
09 I have no need of a bull from your stall
or of goats from your pens,
10 for every animal of the forest is mine,
and the cattle on a thousand hills.
11 I know every bird in the mountains,
and the insects in the fields are mine.
12 If I were hungry I would not tell you,
for the world is mine, and all that is in it.
But there are many benefits of tithing:
Malachi 3:10-12
Mal 3:10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove
me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you
out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].
Mal 3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your
ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
Mal 3:12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delight some land, saith the LORD of
hosts.
* You will have revival.(open windows of heaven)
* You will experience great prosperity. (pouring out the blessing)
* The enemy will be crippled and will not touch your life. (rebuking the devourer for your sakes)
* Your finances will be safe. (he shall not destroy the fruits of the ground)
Your family will be safe from the hand of the enemy. (neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the
time in the field)
* You will be a great witness of the power and blessings of the Lord to the nations. (all the nations shall
call you blessed)
* You will be highly desired, and God will use you for His glory.
Who wants one of those things? I know I do. Yet we do not just get one we get all seven.

There is one more requirement however. God has it all, so he doesn't need your money. It is not about
how much or little you put in. He wants your heart. He wants you to love him enough to give him his
tithes. Mark 12:41 shows us an example of this:
41: Now Jesus sat opposite the treasury and saw how the people put money into the treasury. And how
many who were rich put in much.
42: Then one poor widow came and threw in two mites, which makes a quadrans (quarter).
43: So he called the disciples to Himself and said to them, "Assuredly I say to you that this poor widow
has put in more than all those who have given to the treasury;
44: For they all put in our of their abundance, but she out of her poverty put in all that she had, her
whole livelihood.
You see she held nothing back she gave everything she had to the God.
II Corinthians 9:7 says 'So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity,
for God loves a cheerful giver.
Give thanks with a thankful heart,
Give thanks to the Holy One,
Give thanks for he has given Jesus Christ, the Lord.
Now if you are ready to give say Hallelujah!
