Critical Supporters
The project was launched when Digambar Acharya Shri Suvidhi Sagarji Maharaj provided
about 200,000 pages of scanned images (650 books) of ancient and contemporary Jain
literature in January 2007. The Scanned images were received from Dr Sagarmal Jain. This
critical event accelerated Pravin K Shahs efforts to see his dream - providing Jain literature
free to all who wanted to read it from anywhere in the world - come true. This has become
his life mission. There is no exaggeration in saying that without his passion & dedication this
website would not have been as successful as the numbers suggest (average 150 books
downloaded every day from 75 countries).
The backbone support for this project is provided by Shri Mahavir Jain Aradhana Kendra &
Acharya Shri Kailassagarsuri Gyanmandir, Koba, Ahmedabad, India. The institution was
established by Acharya Shri Padmasagarji Maharaj. Panyas Shri Ajaysagarji Maharaj has
