CEFIXIME
Classification:
Cephalosporin
Antibiotic
Dosage:
200 mg 1 cap
Route:
Oral
Frequency:
BID
Cefixime inhibits
bacterial cell wall
and binds with high
affinity to penicillinbinding proteins in
the bacterial cell
wall, thus
interfering with
peptidogly can
synthesis. Hence
causing bacterial
cell death.
Used to treat
infections caused by
bacteria such as
pneumonia;
bronchitis;
gonorrhea; and ear,
lung, throat, and
urinary tract
infections. Antibiotics
will not work for
colds, flu, or other
viral infections.
Cefixime is
contraindicated in
patients with known
allergy to the
cephalosporin group
of antibiotics;
contraindicated in
conditions like
hypersensitivity
seizures,
cholelithiasis,
urticaria,
agranulocytosis,
eosinophilia,
hemolytic anemia.

(phosphatidylcholine)
. Phosphatidylcholine
improves the
absorption of silybin.
Liverprime also
contains vitamin E
and zinc, antioxidant
nutrients that help
protect the liver from
damaging toxins and

TAMSULOSIN
(PROVELAX)
Classification:
Alpha 1 adrenergic
receptor antagonist
Dosage:
200mg 1 cap
Route:
Oral
Frequency:
HS
Tamsulosin is a
selective 1
receptor antagonist
that has
preferential
selectivity for the
1A receptor in the
prostate versus the
1B receptor in the
blood vessels.
When alpha 1
receptors in the
bladder neck and
the prostate are
blocked, this
causes a relaxation
in smooth muscle
and therefore less
resistance to
urinary flow. Due to
this, the pain
associated with
BPH can be
reduced.
Selective action of
tamsulosin in alpha
1A/D receptors is
