Thirtieth Sunday In Ordinary Time

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

May the Lord give you peace!
The Extraordinary Jubilee Year of Mercy declared by Pope Francis last year will
be concluded this coming November 20 on the Solemnity of Christ the King
with momentous and solemn rites.
The Santuario de San Pedro Bautista is scheduled to close the Jubilee of Mercy
on November 12, 2016, Saturday during the 6:00 PM Mass with His Excellency
Most Reverend Honesto F. Ongtioco, DD, Bishop of Cubao as the main
celebrant together with the Franciscan friars and Clergy from the Diocese of
Cubao.
While many activities and celebrations were already undertaken to help us
experience the mercy and compassion of God, we have scheduled preclosing rites with a nine-day novena from November 3-11 during the 6:00 PM
masses with the theme Kapit-kamay sa Paghahatid ng Walang Hanggang
Awa at Pagmamahal ng Diyos."
To give an opportunity for various sectors to actively participate and celebrate
joyfully as a group, the following schedules had been organized:

Jubilee for Catechists and Teachers

In this regard, may we invite you and your religious community to join us as we
celebrate the Jubilee for Religious and Seminarians on November 4, 2016,
Friday. The program will start at 2:00 in the evening (please see attached
sheet).
To show our concrete gesture of compassion or corporal act of mercy, we urge
all participants to give alms to the poor during the celebration. Also, please
bring food to share for the agape.
