Sub: Quotation for design, supply & installation of bio digester for 200 users

At the outset we sincerely thank you for your interest and inquiry.
We will be very pleased to be associated with you on this project for design, supply
and installation of bio digesters.
Our Recommendations:
1. We recommend that the anaerobic decomposition based bio digesters will be
designed and supplied at the site and installed for use at site.
2. We recommend use of only gravity for fluid flow thus no pumps and motors
have been considered in the proposal.
3. Sewage treatment will be done in most sustainable manner.
OBJECTIVE OF THE OFFERED PROPOSAL:
The offered proposal provides offer for anaerobic decomposition based bio digesters for
treatment of black water.

DESIGN DETAILS OF OFFERED SOLUTION

a. Provision of anaerobic decomposition based bio digesters of for 200 people .
b. This system can also have secondary treatment in the form of reed bed for final
removal of pollutants.
c. The digesters will be fabricated using Fibre reinforced plastic (FRP).
d. The digesters will be reinforced with steel structure as required.
e. Each digester will be provided with several partitions with fluid flow mechanism
f. These digesters will be provided with immobilization matrix for immobilization of the
bacterial inoculum so that the sewage may be retained and decomposed by the
bacteria.
g. In addition to the fixed film immobilization, the digesters will also be provided with
floating media for accelerated decomposition of sewage.
h. The digester will be provided with sufficient quantity of anaerobic inoculum at the
time of commissioning.
BIODIGESTER AND SECONDARY TREATMENT(REED BED) SKETCH

Note: Tanks A, B, C & D are/can be combined into one tank or can be different tanks
depending upon the volume and conditions of the site.
These tanks could be cylindrical / rectangular in shape
SCOPE OF WORK
Design - Design is based on the service load & conditions.
Supply - Supply of digester, media, pumps (where required), immobilization system,
inoculum, pipes, valves, conveyance system and other supply items as per the scope of
supply.
Installation- Equipment and system installation will be done by us.
Commissioning - Commissioning of the units as above will be done by us.
Battery limits:
a. Influent: Influent will be provided up to the digester inlet.
b. Effluent: Digester effluent will be released at the digester outlet. Then it should be
released in the soak pit

Exclusion: Client scope

Safe Storage for stores & equipment during the erection work.
Local material movement from storage site to the work site.
Necessary statutory approvals.

a. All prices are ex works.
b. Taxes & other Govt levies will be extra as applicable.
c. Transportation will be charged extra as per actual.
PAYMENT TERMS:
1) 50 % advance along with commercially and technically clear Purchase Order.
2) 40 % against Performa invoice for supply of equipment, media and other proprietary
items,
3) 10 % against commissioning & hand over.
DELIVERY SCHEDULE:

Start of supply within 6 weeks from the date of receipt of formal purchase
order/job work and payment mentioned as above subject to clear availability
of the site for working without hindrance and encumbrance.
Completion is based on the total order quantity.
