The objective of this course is to introduce students to decision analysis, which is the application of the

programming and decision trees. The usefulness of these tools will be illustrated through examples drawn from
all functional areas of business. These example applications include capacity and inventory management,
portfolio management, supply chain management and project scheduling.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Analyze business or personal problem situations and structure them
- Formulate a quantitative model to represent the problem situations using the techniques learned
