Ruqyah

Ruqyah in Islam is the recitation of the Quran, seeking of refuge,

remembrance and supplications that are used as a means of
treating sicknesses and other problems. A person who performs
ruqyah to cure someone is called a raaqi.
Ruqyah are of two types:

Ruqyah Shareeyah

Ruqyah Shirkiyah

Ruqyah Shareeyah

Ruqyah Shareeyah is based on Islamic Sharia law and has three

conditions. Ibn Hajar (rahimuhullah) said there is a consensus on
the using of ruqyah if three conditions are met:

It must be with the speech of Allah (Quraan) and his

names and attributes.

It must be in the Arabic language, or what is known

to be its meaning in other languages.

To believe that Ruqyah has no benefit by itself, but

the benefits are from Allah.

Ruqyah Shirkiyah

Ruqyah Shirkiyah contradicts the conditions of Ruqyah Shareeyah

and has in it shirk, associating partners with Allah. It leads a
person to his destruction in this life and the next and increases
calamities and sicknesses. This type of ruqyah is prohibited, from
the statement of the Prophet (p). This type of ruqyah includes:
magic (whether learning, practicing, or teaching it), fortune telling,

horoscopes, superstitious belief, and at-Tameemah (charms and

amulets).

The Basics

The Prophet ( )said, There is no disease that Allah has created,
except that He also has created its treatment. (Sahih al-Bukhari
5678)
Healers

To get treated for black magic, jinn possession or the evil eye, you
have two options:

Treat yourself

Find a Muslim healer to treat you

In either case, the most important thing to know and admit is that
the healer, whether it is you yourself or someone else, is merely a
helper. The real healer is God / Allah. If you or your patients start
to think that you, a human, have the power to heal, rather than
God, then your efforts will fail.
If you are not Muslim, you will probably have to find a Muslim
healer to help you. However, be careful when you do if you
do. Some people will claim they can cure you and ask for an
exorbitant amount of money from you. They may also be able to
cure you but do so un-Islamically. You know a healer is Islamic by
the following:

he does not tell you the future,

he does not perform black magic,

he uses the Quran,

he does not pronounce complex codes and invokes

no one but Allah,

he does not write jinn codes on paper to hang on

you,

he recommends to you invocations and religious

deeds like prayer.

In case of doubt, perform consultation prayer (istikharah) and ask

Allah to correctly guide you.
The Quran

The treatment is essentially based on the Quran. The Quran

cancels black magic and the evil eye and burns jinn when they are
unbelievers or wrong. We now need to know the pertinent verses
and how to apply them. This is broadly brought to us by the sunnah
of the Prophet (saw).
1. We hold the person and we recite the Quran facing
him.
2. We read in water with the containers in front of us
and we blow into it at the end of the recitation.
3. The patient then drinks and bathes from this water
for a given number of days.
Many surahs and verses are recommended to be recited a
certain number of times.
Herbs

Following are some plants that are useful for the treatment of black
magic.

Sidr Leaves (from Lote tree / Jujube tree / Nabkh

tree)

Habba Sawda (black seed / black cumin, Nigella

Senna Leaves (sanna makki / Senna leaves from

Mecca, Saudi Arabia) More Info
Ammoniac gum is the scientific name. It is called
Garagar in Soninke, Sorey and Zarma, Bali Bali in
Bambara and Senna leaves in French or English
speaking countries. It is a medical plant giving
diarrhea and used if you eat something harmful or for
weight loss. Senna is an FDA-approved nonprescription laxative. It is used to treat constipation
and also to clear the bowel before diagnostic tests
such as colonoscopy. Senna is also used for irritable
bowel syndrome (IBS), hemorrhoids, and weight loss.
Senna contains many chemicals called sennosides.
Sennosides irritate the lining of the bowel, which
causes a laxative effect.

Habba sawda and Senna leaves are listed as prophetical

medicine. The prophet (saw) said Use sana and sanoot, because
they contain remedies for all diseases except death.
Cupping / Hijama

We will also resort to a bit of bleeding using a technique called

hijama (cupping).
Other

It is always possible to discover new cases for which specific

solutions are needed or we can improve on existing solutions, the
same way sorcerers invent new techniques to make their evil more
efficient and more resistant to the usual treatments. We should not
be surprised to see that all the practitioners in this field have
different methods, even if they agree on the principles.

The Patient (Victim)

The Patients Character and Level of Spirituality

The more a person has a strong character and spirituality, the less
he will be affected by black magic and jinn and the easier he will
recover. In an extreme case, someone punished by Allah because
of his sins will be impossible to cure. In this case, recommend
repentance to patients (to pray if they dont, leave major sins if they
do any) in order for Allah to accept their request and ease their
recovery. But recovery should not be the only reason for
repentance, Allah must be worshiped for His satisfaction and
everlasting success. It also happens that trials with black
magic and jinn are a cause for repentance. Do not establish a sure
link like if you pray, you will recover. Encourage the person to
repent but do cure him as well. Jinn and black magic may make
religious practice difficult. On the other hand, it is very important
that the person does not commit association with Allah (shirk), i.e.
he should not go to seers, sorcerers or black magic practitioners.
The treatment described here works for both non-practicing
Muslims and even non-Muslims. The only case where it is
inefficient is when a person is punished by Allah Himself. Logically,
Allahs words will not cancel Allahs will. There are also people who
always relapse because they continue with their sins. However, the
difference is clear with a person who has strong spirituality. It is not

rare that he sees in a dream the place where the black magic is or
the way it is performed or the Prophet (saw) reciting Quran on him
or any other dream helping him to recover or directly relieving the
patient. Some of the evil may also disappear without having a
dream. We advise patients and their families, in addition to
repentance, to fortify their spirituality with Quran recitation, Allahs
evocation, prayers and duas. Prompt them to rely on Allah and not
on the healer. If a patient wants details on the person who did the
black magic to them, tell them to ask Allah before sleeping, by
performing the prayer of need. If it is a good thing for him to know,
Allah will show it, insha Allah. Finally, do not neglect the patients
physical aspect. Health and physical strength also count to go over
these troubles. The jinn affects the persons strength and weakens
him. Do not hesitate to have him taking vitamins and minerals over
the treatment period if he has some physical weaknesses or lack
of energy. If he is emotionally affected with fear, anguish,
nervousness, apathy, or tension, have him take a daily natural
relaxation infusion (vervain or lime for example).
The Patients State of Mind Against the Jinn

The patients participation in the treatment process is very

important. He must deprive the jinn from everything he likes, e.g.
sins, haram food, activities prohibited by Islam, and to constantly
remind the jinn of Allahs name, e.g. with zikr, reading the Koran,
and praying. It is hard to remove a jinn from someone who, as
soon as he leaves the patients body, goes back to committing
sins.
The psychological fight is very important to get rid off jinn. A jinn in
a person, whatever the reason for his presence and the things he
does, transmits his thoughts and feelings to the person. This

happens naturally because they share the same body. The jinn
thinks in the head of the patient and the patient thinks he is the one
thinking or receiving these thoughts without really understanding
whats happening to him. Similarly, a person feels what the jinn
feels. He hates what he hates, likes what he likes, gets angry when
he gets angry, is afraid when he is afraid, and does not bear what
the jinn does not bear. The person may even have a homosexual
desire when a jinn from the opposite sex lives in him and has a
sexual desire when seeing somebody. Jinns emotions are most
clear in cases where the jinn is a lover jinn and the person is
married. It is very likely the victim will not bear his spouse. A nonMuslim jinn or non-practicing jinn in a person may make the patient
reject Islam or attract him towards another religion. This leads
some people to reduce or leave their practice because it becomes
too difficult. Talking about thoughts, it can become an obsession.
The utmost example is when two people each with a jinn meet. All
reactions are possible, but most of the time, they are negative
because jinn often consider their colleagues as rivals as if they do
not want to share their territory. This can lead to a physical struggle
between them through the bewitched persons. The interesting
discovery is that it is a double-edged sword, the way a jinn can
transmit his thoughts and emotions to a person, the person can do
the same to the jinn. He must first of all recognize which thoughts
and emotions are coming from the jinn using logic and common
sense. As soon as he notices that the jinn is influencing him, he
contradicts him by thinking about what is true or forcing himself to
feel correct emotions. For example, in the case of the couple and a
male lover jinn, the wife says to herself: no, he is my husband, I
love him, he is good to me, and I would not leave him for anyone
else, I am very happy with him, etc so as not to let the jinn say a
word and get in between them. This considerably weakens the jinn

and fortifies the person. Thus, she gets rid of one of the most
uncomfortable effects of possession harmful thoughts and
emotions. Then, we counter attack. Without waiting for the jinn to
transmit emotions or thoughts, we send him ours. First, by reciting
the Quran, we try our best to get involved in it with our emotions
and thoughts to impose them on him. Actually, you just need to
address the jinn to have their attention. Heres an example: if a
person prays and two others are discussing something nearby, the
person will be disturbed but he will try to concentrate on his prayer.
But, if someone talks to him directly and constantly, he will not be
able to remove his attention from the person talking to him. In that
same way, when you talk to the jinn, he is forced to listen to you.
So, it is sometimes very efficient that the patient takes the time to
preach to the jinn. A good time is before going to bed, because the
jinn is awake and everything is calm. The steps to follow are
below, insha Allah. Start talking about Allah and feel that you
should have unlimited love, gratefulness, trust and submission to
Allah. Think and develop this until making him admit and until he
thinks just like you. Take all your time. Then talk about Islam and
clearly think that there is no ambiguity and possible doubt that
Islam is the truth. Then think that men and jinns success are only
in pleasing God and following Islam and that any contradictory
interest to Islam is but an illusion and is not a real interest. Strongly
think about it so as to eliminate all jinns excuses not to follow
Islam. Say to him, I am a Muslim, I love Allah. Then strongly think
that the jinn is making a mistake by staying within you. Think for
him that his success in life requires him to leave you. Then strongly
think that he must leave you right away. Take the decision for him
and do not offer him any other option. This method is very powerful
and very efficient. It only depends on you! If you doubt the
preceding statements, if you do not act upon them, your words will

have no effect on the jinn. Besides, your full acceptance of these

statements is more important than the jinns and even your
recovery. And if your illness caused you to adhere to these
statements or to fortify your adhesion, it is a huge benefit.

General Treatment
Black magic sometimes comes with a jinn. A jinn may hide the
black magic. The evil eye may be present with black magic and
jinn. So, it is better to systematically cure the three problems
altogether. Most of the verses mentioned hereafter are common to
the three sources of problems. Some are special for just one of the
sources. Since it is just as easy to complete the treatment for all
three, the following treatment is valid for the three. Treatment for
specific cases will follow afterwards, insha Allah.
Instructions
1. Get 12 Water Bottles

Get twelve (12) bottles of water (each 1.5 liter). The

evil eye requires five (5) 1.5 liter bottles of water. To
remove black magic we need a maximum of 9 bottles
of water this is a maximum treatment that removes
up to five black magics. As for jinn, 9 bottles of water
are necessary. Some hard cases require 12 bottles so
now we give 12 bottles in all cases in order to satisfy
all cases.
2. Lay Patient Down

Have the patient lay down. This way, he will be fully

relaxed to focus on the Quran recitation and to pray
to Allah so the black magic in him, be it known or not,
vanishes. If, in addition, he has a jinn, the patient

takes the intention to have the jinn listen in order for

the Quran to reach him.
3. Place Water Bottles

Then, the healer puts 12, open 1.5 liter bottles of

water next to his head. We may put more, which will
be discussed below.
4. Hold Patient

Then, the healer holds the patients temples with the

healers thumb and the ring finger. If the evil is
located in a known place of the body, he may hold
this place instead of the temples or just put his finger
on it.
5. Recite Verses

Then, the healer reads all of the verses as listed later

on, putting the healers mouth as close as possible to
the water bottles. Regardless of the patients
reactions, we need to proceed till the end. During the
entire recitation, the patient is to close his eyes and
to be completely relaxed to concentrate on the
recitation no matter what happens to him.
6. Blow into Water Bottles

At the end of the recitation, the healer blows into the

opened bottles. Once the recitation is done, the
patient stands up and we close the bottles.
7. Have Patient Drink and Bathe in Water

There are as many bottles of water as days. One

bottle is to be used each day.
1. Drink

The patient drinks the water three times a day

for a total of half a liter (1/6 liter in the morning,
1/6 liter at noon and 1/6 liter in the evening).

During Ramadan, the patient drinks when

permitted. The patient drinks three times a day
so that the Quran can constantly turn in his
body.
2. Bathe

The patient then bathes with the remaining liter

of water at sunset or early in the evening. If the
person also has infusions that need to be taken,
he does not need to drink from the water
bottles; he just bathes with the full bottle.
1. Timing

Jinn are awake at night and sleep during

the day, opposite of humans. We need to
hit them with the bathing when they wake
up to knock them out until the morning,
then they go back to sleep, and we start
over the following day at the time they
wake up, and so on all over the treatment.
Black magic has the same nature as jinn
and we also bathe at the same times. But
when the night becomes too short (in
northern areas), jinn wake up before
sunset. Thus, when sunset is late, the
patient should not wait to bathe around 8
pm. They can bathe earlier like around 6
pm.
2. Warm the Water

The patient can bathe with cold water, but

the most effective for jinn and black
magic is warm to nearly-burning, almost
unbearable water, because jinn are made

of fire and heat disintegrates them. Black

magic is of the same kind. To warm the
water, dont do it in a pan on a flame like a
gas stove. Boil it on a double boiler like a
feeding bottle in hot water or in a
microwave.
3. Ablution and Intention

Its better to have or make ablution before

bathing, to say bismillah, ask recovery
from Allah, and make the intention to be
cured and that the evil goes back to the
one who made it.
4. Pour Water

Then, the patient pours the whole bottle on

his head, he throws the bottle behind him,
then he dries the water on his body with
his hands.
5. Collect Water

The patient must keep the water and avoid

it going into the sewer by bathing in a
wash or bath tub. Then he throws the
water into nature somewhere, e.g. on
grass, under a tree, in the ground or on
plants. This is to respect the Quran
(omitting this point does not affect the
treatment). We noticed that water thrown
into the sewer burns unbelieving jinns
living there. It is a harm that can easily be
avoided, not to mention that they may take
revenge on you. This proves that the water
really contains the Quran.

It is imperative to continuously bathe every day until the end of the

treatment. Women can interrupt it during their period to respect the
Quran, unless they are in an urgent and difficult situation, and that
it is hard for her to delay the treatment. If reciting on the person
weakens the black magic and burns the jinn, then bathing with
Quranic water erases black magic and chases the jinn away.
Actually, for black magic cases, water is more important than
recitation, and giving the person the prepared water bottles without
reciting on him is enough. For jinn possession, we absolutely need
to recite on the patient, and even use other techniques described
below, insha Allah. The only black magic situation in which we
have to recite on the patient is when there is black magic with a
jinn protecting it. Therefore, we can simply give the water to
patients when the black magic is simple and theres no jinn
protecting the black magic. This way, the healer can prepare a lot
water at once for many patients. Our experience shows that we
can prepare up to 72 x 1.5 liter bottles at once, reciting on 12 open
6 bottle packs. Beyond this quantity, the Quran recitation does not
reach all the bottles. The same blessed water can be used to make
infusions or treat the house.

Treatment for Black Magic That is Eaten

To treat black magic that was eaten by the patient, there is no need
to recite the Quran on the patient or for him to bathe with water.
The treatment is to only have the patient drink plant-infused,
Quran-blown water for several days. We use Sana Makki (senna
leaves from Mecca). It is also called Sana Haram (Senna leaves
from the holy land). The Sana Makki is a laxative so it empties the
stomach. Then, the infusion, because it contains the Quran,
attacks the black magic and causes stomach pain. In some cases
of eaten black magic, instead of putting drops of the black magic in
food, the sorcerer would dip a piece of meat or a particular plant in

black magic right away and then arrange for the victim to eat it.
This is why we add some Sidr leaves (Jujube tree) in the infusion
because Sidr attacks the sorcerers plant and consumes it.
Instructions

1. Buy the plants

First of all, buy Senna leaves and Sidr leaves. In all
desertic countries, these plants are well known. In
France, you will find them with Arab herbalists,
mostly imported from Morocco. In sub-saharan
countries, it is imported from countries connected to
the desert like Mali or Niger.
2. Grind the plants
Ground Sana Makki and dried Sidr leaves separately
until their leaves are in small pieces but not until
they become a powder.
3. Mix the plants with water
Put two tablespoons of ground Sanna Makki in a pan
with one teaspoon of ground Sidr leaves. Add 1.5
liters of water (one bottle), and
4. Stir while reciting Quran
Stir the mixture with a spoon while reading 7 times
the following verses

117-122 of surat Ar-raf,

81-82 of surat Yunus and

68-70 of surat Ta-Ha

5. Put mixture back in bottle

The mixture is put back in the bottle (unless drunk on
the spot), and kept in the fridge because the mixture

cannot be kept for long (a few days in the fridge, if

longer than a few days, put it in the freezer).
6. Have the patient drink the infused water
The patient drinks the infusion an empty stomach.
The first morning, he pours half the bottle into a pan,
boils it for fifteen minutes on mild heat, lets it cool a
little, then drinks it without adding anything and
without filtering it. The leaves will settle at the
bottom of the pan. It is better to not eat for 20
minutes after that. The patient does the same thing
with the other half of the bottle the next morning and
repeats drinking every morning until they feel no
more pain in the stomach.
If the patient is a child or a light-weighted person, you should lower
the quantity according to his weight. Many pregnant women have
taken the infusion. It does not create any problems by Allahs
mercy. With regards to breastfeeding women, it is even advised to
consume this infusion because the baby may have been bewitched
in her womb and the black magic will be removed by his mothers
infusion through the milk, instead of giving the baby the treatment.
What to Expect

The infusion will give the patient diarrhea that will entirely empty
his stomach. There will be some pain to remove black magic,
proportional to the amount of black magic eaten, as if your skin is
being torn out, but dont worry, it cannot harm your body, it is only
extracting black magic. The diarrhea usually starts 3 to 5 hours
after the Sana Makki is taken, and varies in intensity depending on
people. It is better to avoid drinking it if one works and cannot
easily go to the restroom. Generally, the Sanas effect reduces with

each day. When black magic has a serious effect on the body and
has jinns with it, the patient can feel various feelings of discomfort
in the body because all of the black magic and jinn are being
removed. The number of times the infusion has to be taken varies
with the kind of eaten black magic and how many times the patient
ate it. The general rule is as long as the patient feels stomach pain
and various feelings of discomfort, there still is black magic in his
body. If there is no more black magic, the infusions only effect will
be diarrhea. If the infusions effect is unbearable, the person can
skip some days or take less, e.g. one bottle every three or four
days instead of every two days, but he must continue it until it he
feels no more pain and discomfort. Note that there is another kind
of black magic in the stomach (see below) that can cause stomach
pain. That type of black magic will not leave the body with the
Senna leaf infusion.
Some people with a sensitive stomach are afraid to take Sana
Makki. What happens is that black magic in the stomach is
perceived as a foreign object and our natural defenses attack it.
But our bodys defenses cannot remove it so it keeps on scratching
our stomach and intestine causing acidities, wounds, cramps,
vomiting and maybe ulcers and bleeding. When the infusion
removes the black magic, in addition to the pain for removing black
magic, since the intestine wall is fragile, the pain is increased and
the person can experience bleeding. Unfortunately, there is no
other way. When there is no black magic left, everything will come
back to normal because the stomach and intestine will heal on
their own like a cut on the skin will heal if you stop scratching it.
Prepare Quran Water in Advance

If you have bottles of water prepared with the Quran recitation as

mentioned above, you can directly mix the plant with that water in
the same quantities, and you dont need to recite on it. This way
the patient can go home with water bottles and a bag of herbs. The
patient can then just make the mix everyday depending on how
much he needs to drink.

Treatment for Black Magic Put in the Body

To treat black magic that was put in a victims body, a slight
bleeding with a suction glass jar / pot (hijma) is necessary.
Reciting the Quran burns black magic and dissolves it, but it
remains in the body. We must suck it out of the body with a suction
pot, and by Allahs grace, the black magic will quickly be removed.
Do not use suction pots on a hemophiliac but it is okay to use it on
diabetics.
Instructions

1. Prepare Items

a new razor blade,

a small glass cup or jar,

some cotton,

alcohol to disinfect the patient skin,

some paper

a lighter

2. Unveil Part of Body

Unveil the part of the body where the suction pot will
be put, e.g. pull up the patients shirt to expose his
back. Of course, it is better that men be treated by
men and women by women, but when this is not

possible, we use the same exceptions as in medicine.

We only unveil the necessary area of the body for the
necessary amount of time. If the part of the body is
covered with hair, you will have to shave it.
Otherwise, the suction pot will not hold. Completely
shave the on and around the surface area of where
the suction pot will be placed. If the area on the body
to place the suction pot is small, use a smaller
suction pot like mini sauce jars (tartars, aioli, etc.).
3. Disinfect Skin

Disinfect the surface of the skin with cotton and

alcohol.
4. Slightly Cut Skin

Make small strokes of the blade on the skin in order

to open the skin by tiny cuts invisible to the eye. We
will see some little openings by stretching the skin
with the finger. There is no need to do more than that
or to see blood shedding. The pot will suck some
drops of blood up to a spoonful of blood. We can
make three or four cuts with a square or rectangular
shape such that the square or rectangle fits within
the opening of the glass we will use. We can measure
the opening of the glass by drawing a circle on the
patients skin along the perimeter of the opening of
the glass.
5. Place Lighted Paper into Jar

Then we take a piece of paper of about 5cm/3cm (2

inches/1 inch), we fold it in half to obtain 5cm/1.5cm,
we light up one tip, hold the paper with the flame
down so that the flame can go up the paper, we put
it into the glass / pot and we quickly stick the pot on

the cuts we made in order for them to be inside the

pots opening. We can also, in place of paper, put
some cotton with alcohol or solvent. When sticking
the pot to the skin, we turn it slightly like a screw so
the air will not penetrate along the pots borders. The
flame on the paper then dies and the heat in the
glass causes a depression sucking the skin into the
glass. Thats the suction pot. The patient feels a
sucking feeling and heat and we can see his skin
penetrating into the glass depending on the part of
body where the suction pot is placed. The suction pot
should stay in place and stick to the skin on its own,
even if you try to pull it a bit.
6. Recite Quran Verses

We cover the patient and recite the series of verses

while holding his temples or putting our hand or
finger around the suction pot.
7. Remove Suction Pot

Once the recitation completed, to remove the suction

pot, you have to press with your finger on one side in
order to have air to penetrate into the pot, and then

8. Cleanup

Clean the skin with cotton with alcohol.

Depending on the person, the part of the body and the depth of the

Other symptoms can be treated without searching for what

symbols were used to provoke them, but simply by using verses of
the Quran having to with or mentioning those symptoms: e.g.
madness, losing mental capacities in varying degrees, seeing
crazy people in dreams.
There is an interesting clue to recognize black magic. The order
dictated by black magic materializes in the victims life and gets in
his thoughts until the person ends up having that idea in mind, For
example, the person might sum up his situation with a description
like I keep on turning round and round. This means that the black
magic is hung or placed in a high place. Or, he would say I am like
a dead person which means the black magic is in a graveyard. Or,
he might say I am chained which means it is made with chains.

Therefore, when discussing with the patient, you will often find the
key sentence giving you clues about the sorcery.
Instructions

1. Discover what has been done

Simply understanding what has been done weakens
the black magic and the victim will stop suffering
without understanding whats going on. Above is a
list of the most frequently used symbols in black
magic with clues to detect them
2. Find the associated verse(s)
To do this, you will take for every symbol a verse of
the Quran adapted to undo it (listed above).
3. Write the verse on paper
Write the verses with an edible ink (the ink for
Quranic slates or rose or orange flower water with
food coloring or saffron) on paper. If possible,
transparent paper. You need a traditional reed pen or
a modern ink pen. At worst, use a tooth pick. We
write them without points and vowels, because that
was the writing in the time of Prophet (saw). For
those who find difficultly in writing, you can transfer

Additional Verses

You are free to use more verses as you wish and find verses
appropriate to the problem you are dealing with. You can also write
prayers of the Prophet (saw) such as the war prayer: oh, Allah!

You sent the clouds, gave down the Book and beat up the
coalition, defeat them and give us victory on them

Or the sahabas prayer to destroy enemies: Oh Allah! Count their
number, destroy them all, and dont leave any single one of them!

Treatment for Serial Black Magic
If the patient is bewitched again, instead of perpetually curing him
and waiting for the sorcerer to get tired, the patient should defend
himself. To do that, do the following:

Make Intention
Intend to return the black magic to the sender, which
is our only resort against sorcerers.

Invoke supplications
Barricades yourself with supplications proposed
below (PREVENTION INVOCATIONS). Perform them
as seriously as possible. If you see in your dreams
the sorcerer or any evil trying to reach you,
immediately recite the verse of the Throne (Ayat AlKursi) for protection.

You may also do the Punishment prayer.

According to the hadiths, the most granted wish is the one of

someone who experiences an injustice. There is no specific
formula. The patient just asks Allah to avenge him from the
perpetrator of the injustice, to punish him the way he deserves to
be punished, and to stop him from doing it again to him or to
anyone else. For those hesitating to pray against others or,
specifically, the perpetrator of the injustice, you can say it in a
different way as follows:
Allah, if you have planned to guide him, guide him now!
If you programmed him to Hell, then take him now!
It is essential that when someone wants to harm you that you take
action, even if only minimally. According to Ben Halima, people
who are not willing to fight back, e.g. mentally or by praying, are
more susceptible to the effects of black magic, jinn and the evil
eye. Fortify yourself, do not accept to be a victim, act, wake up at
night and beseech Allah to avenge you, destroy allied evil and
shelter yourself and your family from of all their evils. According to
Ben Halima, some of his clients thus saw their sorcerers die within
a few weeks. Isnt that ideal? Besides, the more you fight
back against those who harm you, the more you will dissuade them
from hurting you or anyone else again.
Sorcerers do evil to many people, but your prayers added to those
of others can change things, Inshallah. Even though this advice is
encouraged for serial black magic, it is valid for all types of black
magic. When there is serial black magic, there is always a mother
black magic. As soon as you understand it, instead of removing
them one by one, strike the root or center of the black magic and
cure it as normal black magic. If it is placed in the patients body,
then youll need to look for a painful place in the body.

Treatment for Black Magic and Jinn a House,

Shop, Car, or Any Object
Black Magic in a House

If black magic is affeocting a house, spray the whole house with

Quran water. Pour the water in a spray bottle or put a spray on the
bottle of Quran water. You can also just throw the water with your
hand. Spray the whole house: walls, roof, floor, under the furniture,
in drawers, closets, in the oven, the fridge, the washing machine,
outside windows, outside the door, etc.. For toilets, close the bowl
and spray the rest. It is very important to reach all corners and not
to forget the outside of the windows and the doors. Spray, in
particular, the entrance door and bed where you sleep because
these are the most critical places.
Jinn in a House

In a jinn without black magic is affecting a house, focus on

spraying any recesses and holes (especially if it is a standalone,
detached house). The basement needs to be entirely sprayed.
Also, spray all accesses like the chimneys and air ducts, then
physically close them or close them symbolically by saying
bismillah. If there is a garden, it is not necessary to spray it; just

Black magic can be done on a house from far away, or put in front
of the door or put inside the house, possibly by jinn. So, if you find
suspicious objects, you have to burn them. First, protect yourself
with prayers before touching them because of the risks. Dont kick
them. The best way would be to start by pouring some Quran
water on them or putting them in a glass of Quran water. The case
of black magic on a house may be more complex because the jinn
are hiding in the house or the black magic is stuck to the house or
put inside a wall or under the foundation. You then need to spray
the house two or three times. Use the Quran water in cleaning
products to clean the house and pour the Quran water at the
bottom of the walls all around the house for black magic in the
foundation of the house.
Cemeteries and Treasures

According to Ben Halima, for houses built on old cemeteries or

treasures, it is unclear why jinn present in cemeteries are attached
to those houses. It doesnt seem possible to empty a cemetery
from jinn. It is also surprising to see how jinn are attached to
treasures and some jinn have said that they want it to be rich
even though they cant do anything with it.

Special Cases
Handicapped / Special Needs Patients

If a person becomes physically handicapped or mentally retarded

because of black magic he was subject to very early on in
his childhood or even while in the womb of his mother or because
the mother was bewitched during pregnancy to bear handicapped
children, then even if the black magic is removed, the effect
that the patient suffers is irreversible. We can just hope for a slight
improvement and relief for the patient and a limitation in the
degradation of his state. So do not give false hopes to the patients
family. Explain to them clearly the situation. When a child has a
jinn dominating him since his early childhood (e.g. autistic
children), then he never really had his own personality and never
possessed his body. We can possibly remove the black magic,
which will partially relieve the person, but even if we manage to
remove the jinn, who will be the master of his body? It is actually a
body with no other master but the jinn, and even if the jinn leave,
others will come.
Patient Unwilling to be Cured

If a person does not want to be cured either because he does not

believe he is affected by black magic and/or jinn or the sorcerer
made him dependent on him, then it will be difficult or impossible to
cure them. Treatments described below cannot be performed
without the patients participation, unless the person, e.g. a child, is
taken care of by the family. Hopefully, one day we will discover a
way to cure people without their presence and consent. For now,
all that remains are prayers and Allahs begging. Treatments
mentioned in this website eventually work with all people by the will

of Allah, but when the situation cannot be handled like in normal

cases, one should not lose hope and should definitively turn to
Allah. We are not talking about miracles and we cannot rely on
miracles to cure people. If there are no more means to cure the
patient, do not lose faith in Allahs mercy. But, also accept Allahs
test and the difficult situation. For someone who refuses care, we
can still make him discreetly drink Quran water. This may soften
the black magic effect so he can get his senses back and agree to
be cured. It is also good to read on a pan while cooking family
meals as this will be good for affected persons and will not harm
others (you can do it as long as you want and in any meal you
want). You will have to read

The recitation of translated Quran has no effect on jinn and black

magic so you must absolutely recite in Arabic.
Patient Representative
There is a possibility where someone else does the treatment
representing the actual patient. This is a matter of intention and
prayer. The person must have a very strong emotional link with the
patient. He will bathe with Quran water with the intention of bathing
the ill person and asking Allah to bring this Quran water onto his
black magic and to cure him. He does the for 7 days. If the person

himself has a treatment to follow, he will just have to add the

intention of curing the other person as well. According to Ben
Halima, this technique has already worked, but it depends on the
bathing persons intention and prayers.
Intensive Treatment

Treatments exposed in this website are maximum treatments,

calculated for the most difficult cases and the most fragile people.
It remains possible to intensify the treatment if a person is
seriously affected or if a quick improvement is needed. Intensive
treatment consists of bathing twice a day instead of once, and
possibly reciting the Quran on the patient every few days or every
day or several times a day, and to massage the painful places on
the body with Habba Sawda Quranic oil. If the situation seems
difficult to solve, ask the patient to recite surat Al-Fatiha 125 times
a day and then to give alms of the Hasanat gained by saying:
Allah, the good actions I gained with this recitation, I give them to
persons who need it, and I am asking you to solve my problem or
to show me the solution, then the person should attention to
any dreams he might have because therein he might see the
solution. According to Ben Halima, in Africa he often encounters
difficult cases so he gives this recitation to all of his patients along
with: l ilaha illa anta subhnaka inni kontu mina dhalimn to be
recited 300 times a day.

Treatment Via Dreams

If you see the sick person (patient) in your dreams, you can cure
him in that dream, or if you see the black magic, you can destroy it,
and if you see a jinn (yours or someone elses), you can kill it.

Instructions
1. Ayat Al-Kursi

Make ablution and before sleeping, read or recite

ayat Al-Kursi (The Verse of the Throne) 11 times
2. Surat Al-Baqarah verse 148

Ask Allah to bring you the evil into your dreams to

destroy it and read or recite surat Al-Baqarah verse
148 as many times as you can.
3. Destroy the evil

As soon as you see it the evil in your dreams, catch it

and read ceaselessly the verse of the Throne.
4. Repeat

Repeat the above steps on subsequent days, as

necessary.

Other Methods
The field of ruqyah healing is very open. All means of curing are
allowed as long as they comply with Islam. Some traditional
healers use lead, heat it up in a pan so it melts, and then let it drop
in water. The lead first needs to be impregnated by the ill patient.
Either turn it around him or let him sleep with it in his bed. By
having the lead mix with the water, it will absorb the persons evil
and take its shape when solidifying in the water. Some healers
make strange recitations along with it as well, but it works on its
own and you might as well recite the Quran on it. There is nothing
in lead itself contradicting religion and its effect is not impossible to
understand. Jinn are made of fire which is a kind of energy, and
black magic is of the same nature. The lead has the capacity of
absorbing this energy which weakens the jinn or black magic and
somehow relieves the patient. Sometimes later the black magic or

jinn reconstitute themselves. So, it does not result in total recovery

but a weakening of the evil, but some healers insist people get total
recovery. There is no contradiction whatsoever in this practice with
Islam, unless forbidden deeds are added to it, like praying to
anyone besides Allah.

Treatment for Jinn Possession

Quran Recitation

Quran recitation burns jinn. Burning does not mean the same for
jinn as for us because they are made of fire. When they burn, they
are consumed by it and shrink in volume, lose strength and suffer a
lot. To kill them, you need to consume them totally. We may not
know when they will die from burning. They may become weak
until lose their effects on us but still remain present in the patients
body. But, they can recover their strength if the patient doesnt do
much dhikr and commits sins. Jinn resist until their pain becomes
greater than his wish to stay. This depends on their strength, the
reason for their presence and their power over the person. They
may stay until the person dies.
Quran Recitation + Bathing (+Tap and Massage)

Recitation and bathing are also good in removing jinn from ones
body. You recite holding the person and then the patient bathes for
12 days. If the jinni is still there or if the patient no longer feels the
effects of the jinn but wants to play it safe, you can recite once
more and have the patient bathe again. If the person feels the jinn
in one part of his body, you recite holding that part of his body,
tapping and massaging from head to toes. Normally, the feeling
should move to the bottom following nerve paths from head to
neck, along the spinal cord down to the kidneys, then around the

hips and along the side of the legs (as seen in profile view) till the
ankle and the feet to the big toes. Just follow the feeling of the
patient massaging and tapping all along the body.
Cupping (Hijama)

Unfortunately, there are several cases where Quran recitation and

bathing are not sufficient. First of all, when the jinni is located in a
precise place of the body (often the head when having headaches
or obsessive thoughts or in the chest when feeling pressure and
suffocation or in intimate areas when it is a sexual issue), you
should start by putting one (or more) suction pots at this place.
This detaches the jinn from the place he is at but he can easily
slide to the feet until he leaves. He can also exit from other places
such as the mouth when he is close to it. In this case, the person
feels like vomiting. Other cases where only recitation is not enough
follow.

Treatment for Jinn Possession Due to Black

Magic
When linked to black magic or blocked by it, you must start by
removing the black magic. At this time, diagnosis can only be
established by the symptoms mentioned above. The patient may
also have dreams announcing the coming of black magic. It is a
mistake to attack the jinn before removing the black magic. If you
do so, the jinn cannot leave the patients body. He suffers but does
not die. He struggles and moves around aimlessly causing the
patient to suffer. The jinn also expands in the body as he struggles
and can physically move the patients body or speak through his
mouth. There is a risk that after the treatment, the jinn does not
stop speaking and keeps on moving the patients body. The jinn

may also just randomly start speaking at any moment which is a

sign of possession. You should not take this risk. If the black
magic is symbolic or eaten, you just need to give him Quran water
for bathing and infusion as described above. When the person has
black magic in his body, it is necessary to recite Quran on him with
the suction pots. But if patient has jinn along with black magic, do
not force the jinn out and have the intention to remove the black
magic and to burn the jinn just a bit so they decide to leave as
soon as they can. Attacking the jinn without removing the black
magic is the most common mistake made by nonprofessionals. It is tiring task for the healer, the patient and the jinn
with poor results and the risk of the jinn expanding more in the
patients body due to struggling. If you have a patient who already
went through this, on whom a lot of recitation has been done, if you
are able to diagnose the sorcery, just give him the treatment for
black magic and do not touch the jinn. Tell the jinn that you do not
want to harm him, that you just want to remove the black magic so
he can leave, and if there is more than one black magic in the
patient, then the jinn should show it to the patient. If you happen to
recite on a person to remove the black magic while he has jinn,
take the intention of only burning the black magic to free the way
for the jinn to leave on its own.

Treatment for Jinn Possession Attached to

Nervous System
When the jinn is stuck to a persons brain such that both
personalities are almost merged or the jinns influence on the
persons thoughts is too strong or the jinn has completely
possessed the person, you need to loosen the jinn from the brain
before reciting the Quran.

Instructions
1. Take a sharp tool

E.g., a potato peeler

2. Hold the persons head
3. Recite
1. Fatiha
2. the verse of the Throne
3. the last three surahs
4. Heat the edge of the blade with a lighter
5. Give little strokes

Using the tool, start from the back of the neck up to

the middle of the forehead and from one temple to
the other one via the top of the head (only once from
back to forehead and from the right to the left).
The person should feel some burns. If it cools down, you need to
heat the blade again and continue.
This method is very efficient to remove the jinn because he feels
the burning more than the person does and later on the jinn is
more affected by the recitation. It is also very efficient to put a
suction pot to detach and weaken the jinn. When he is in the head,
the suction pot is put on the nape, on the spinal cord which is at
the base of the back of neck. You can also put two between both
ears, on the last piece of flesh before the skull. This is very efficient
but requires shaving the head of the patient. If the jinn are in
another place of the body, it is also efficient to put the suction pot
at that place, and put your hand near to it during the recitation. The
jinn may have two settling points and moves from one to the other.
In that case, you will need to put a suction pot on both spots. If the

jinn are everywhere in the body, dont hesitate to put suction pots
everywhere.

Treatment for Jinn Possession by Resistant Jinn

Jinn Catching
Jinn catching is a relatively new method for curing patients. Its
very effective but requires a third person a jinn catcher. If other
treatment methods do not work, jinn catching can be used as a last
resort. Or, if you have a jinn catcher readily available, you can just
use the jinn catching method described here. When a jinn
possesses a human, they control, partially or completely, the
human. Conversely, when a human jinn catcher catches a human,
the human controls the jinn. The jinn is stuck in the humans body
and rarely cant escape without permission from the catcher and
the healer. Sometimes the catcher is conscious of whats
happening during catching session. Other times, e.g. when the jinn
is a shaytaan, the catcher may not know whats happening. If the
catcher is conscious and recites the Quran in their mind, the jinn
burns. The jinn will feel very uncomfortable in the catchers body
and beg to leave. Jinn catching is often done when direct ruqyah
against a patient doesnt work, e.g. when the jinn inside the patient
doesnt want to talk. With jinn catching, the jinn will be summoned
and forced from the body of the patient to the body of the catcher.
The jinn will be so uncomfortable and feel that they are being
burned that the jinn will be forced to talk. At that time, the
healer can communicate with the jinn and cure the patient.

Conditions

In order for a human to be a jinn catcher, they must meet the

following conditions:

Been a victim of black magic with jinn possession

During the black magic treatment, the jinn in their

body spoke

Be cured from any black magic or jinn

The second condition that the jinn spoke during the treatment
is necessary since this will allow jinn caught by the jinn catcher to
talk as well.
Instructions
1. Ablution

Everyone (jinn catcher, healer, and patient) make

ablution
2. Hold hands

Healer is to have one hand hold the the hand of the

patient (or a photo of the patient) and the other hand
hold the hand of the jinn catcher. Jinn catching can be
used to catch jinn inside people who are not present
or cannot be available. In this case, simply replace
the patient with a picture of the patient.
3. Recite prayers to start ruqyah

The healer and the jinn catcher make intention to

catch the jinn and the healer recites the prayers
below.

4. Summon the jinn

To call the jinn to the catchers body, recite verse 148

of surah Al-Baqarah

Wherever you may be, Allah will bring you all

together. Verily, Allah is able to do all things.
5. Focus on signs

When the jinn catcher catches the jinn, they will

begin to show abnormal signs like twitching, hand
shaking uncontrollably, head moving around, body
shivering, making weird sounds, etc.
6. Talk to the jinn

Now that youve captured the jiin, you can talk to it.
Following are common things to say.
1. Whats your name?

Ask the jinn what its name is. Once you know its
name, you can refer to its name when talking to
it.
2. Whats your religion?

Its important to know the jinns religion. If its

not Muslim, youll need to convince and have
the jinn convert to Islam.
3. Who sent you / where did you come from /

whats the name of the person who sent

you?
Knowing who sent the jinn and where it is from
helps in solving the problem.

4. Why were you sent?

Its important to know why the jinn was sent to

the patient, e.g. to make them sick, cause a
divorce, etc.
5. How many jinn are with you?

When jinn are sent with black magic, there is

usually multiple jinn in the body. Sometimes
theres thousands.
6. Are you the chief jinn?

You want to talk to the chief jinn since the other

jinn will usually do whatever the chief does. If
you are not talking to the chief, tell the jinn that
it can leave the catchers body and start over
with the intention of calling the chief. Or, ask the
jinn in the catchers body to call the chief and
then recite 2/148 (step 4 above) to summon the
chief jinn.
7. Ask the jinn to become Muslim

If the jinn isnt Muslim, ask it to convert. If it doesnt

want to, convince it to do so. For example, if the jinn
is Jewish, play verses of the Quran about why the
Jews were wrong. Tell the jinn that if it doesnt
convert and stop hurting the patient, you will burn
and kill the jinn.
8. Convert the jinn

If the jinn agrees to convert to Islam, have it raise its

index finger to take shahadah. Tell the jinn to repeat
after you and say 3 times the following:

I bear witness that there is no god but Allah

and I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger
of Allah

God is [the] greatest
9. Jinn color

After converting, ask the jinn what color it is. It

should be white. If the jinn says any color other then
white, it may not have genuinely converted. Have the
jinn take shahadah again.
10. Find the black magic

Once the jinn has converted, ask it where all of the

black magic is.
11. Destroy the black magic

Once you know where the black magic is, tell the jinn
to destroy it. Give the jinn (the catcher) a spray
bottle full of Quran water which has been recited on.
Tell the jinn to spray and destroy all of the black
magic it sees. If the black magic is, for example, in
the patients stomach or leg, the jinn will spray the
patients stomach and leg.
12. Recite verses

Depending on the jinns reaction, you may need to

recite certain verses of the Quran, e.g. if the jinn is
feeling uncomfortably hot in the catchers body and

cannot behave, you can recite chapter 21 verse 69

multiple times.

We said: O fire, be coolness and peace for Abraham

Even this though verse speaks for Abraham, it will
cool the jinn down. Below is a list of verses for
different situations. If the verses below dont apply to
the situation you are facing, you can search the
Quran online for a verse that does.
13. Allow the jinn to leave

Once the jinn has converted, has destroyed the black

magic, and promised to leave the patient alone, you
can allow the jinn to leave the catchers body.

If this is the third or fourth time youve had to do

ruqyah on the patient because the sorcerer keeps
redoing black magic, recite the punishment
prayer and tell the jinn to reverse the magic on the
sorcerer or the person who hired the sorcerer.
Prayers to Start Ruqyah

I seek refuge with Allah, the Hearing, the Knowing, from the cursed
Satan, from his coercion, lures to arrogance and poems. (recite 3
times)

I seek refuge for you two with Allaahs perfect words from every
Shaytaan (devil) and poisonous creature and every evil eye. (recite
3 times)

I seek refuge in perfect words of Allah all of them from the evil of
what He has created (recite 3 times)

In the Name of Allah with Whose Name there is protection against
every kind of harm in the earth or in the heaven, and He is the AllHearing and All- Knowing

In the name of God I perform ruqyah, from everything that hurt

you, from the evil of every soul or envious eye, God heal you, the
name of Allah I perform ruqyah

In the name of Allah (recite 3 times)

I seek refuge in Allah and His power from all that I feel or fear.

O Lord of the people, remove the pain. Heal, for You are the
Healer, there is no cure but yours a cure that will not leave
behind any sickness. (recite 7 times)

be upon him asked you and seek refuge in You from the evil of
what Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him seeked refuge in

and you are my helper and you have the communication, theres
no strength except in Allah

There is no god but God, the great-Halim. There is no god but
Allah, the Lord of the Mighty Throne. There is no god but Allah, the
Lord of the heavens and Lord of the earth, the Lord of the Holy
Throne

Our Lord God in heaven sanctify your name, your order in heaven
and earth, as in heaven, so make thy lovingkindness in the ground,
forgive us our sins and Hobina, you are the boss good, revealed
the mercy of your mercy, your recovery and healing of this pain
healed

Allah is sufficient for me. There is no God but He. I have placed my
trust in Him, He is Lord of the Majestic Throne (recite 3 times)

O Allah, send blessings upon Muhammad and upon the family of

Muhammad as You sent blessings upon Ibraheem and upon the
family of Ibraheem; indeed, You are praiseworthy and glorious. O
Allah, Bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as You
blessed Ibraheem and the family of Ibraheem; in the world, indeed,
You are praise worthy and glorious.
Verses for Different Jinn Reactions

If the jinn doesnt want to or cant talk, repeatedly

recite the following verses to make it talk.

(41/21) They say: Allah has given us speech Who gives speech to
all things



(51/23) And by the Lord of the heavens and the earth, it is the
truth, even as (it is true) that ye speak.


(37/92) Whats wrong with you that you cant speak.

If the jinn is trying to run away, repeatedly recite
the following verses.


(76/4) Lo! We have prepared for disbelievers manacles and
carcans and a raging fire.

(24) What aileth you that ye help not one another?
(25) Nay, but this Day they make full submission. (26)

If the jinn is asking who you are, say the following.


(7/196) Lo! my Protecting Friend is Allah Who revealeth the
Scripture. He befriendeth the righteous.
If the jinn says it is a king or important chief,
repeatedly recite the following verses.

(3/26) Say: O Allah! Owner of Sovereignty! Thou givest sovereignty

unto whom Thou wilt, and Thou withdrawest sovereignty from

whom Thou wilt. Thou exaltest whom Thou wilt, and Thou abasest
whom Thou wilt. In Thy hand is the good. Lo! Thou art Able to do
all things.

(38/20) We made his kingdom strong and gave him wisdom and
decisive speech.
If the jinn says you are lying, repeatedly recite the
following verse.


(17/81) And say: Truth hath come and falsehood hath vanished
away. Lo! falsehood is ever bound to vanish.
If the jinn is burning and feels uncomfortably hot,
cool it down by repeatedly reciting the following
verse (unless you want to let it burn).



(21/69) We said: O fire, be coolness and peace for Abraham
If the jinn is afraid of the sorcerer, repeatedly recite
the following verses.





(30/47) Verily We sent before thee (Muhammad) messengers to
their own folk. They brought them clear Proofs (of Allahs
Sovereignty)Then we took vengeance upon those who were guilty
(in regard to them). To help believers is ever incumbent upon Us.

(33/3) And put thy trust in Allah, for Allah is sufficient as Trustee.
If the jinn is afraid it will be harmed, repeatedly
recite the following verse to hide the jinn.

(17/45) And when thou recitest the Quran we place between thee
and those who believe not in the Hereafter a hidden barrier
