In this tutorial you will learn how to design a classic red & gold

emblem type of logo with Corel Draw. This in-depth logo design
tutorial includes steps on designing a golden frame, logo body, red
ribbon and golden accent. This logo can be used as a badge,
emblem, insignia and will look good on a label, flag, stationary etc.
This kind of logo works well for vintage, classic usage, as it has a
elegant classic feel. You can also download the free source file for

Step 1 : Basic Elements


First of all you have to use CorelDraw with version 11+. In this
tutorial I use CorelDraw X5.
Okay lets get started. Lets take a look at the basic elements used
to create our design :

This also will be our steps to create the design.

Step 2 : Creating Worksheet


Okay, now that you know the steps and elements, we will begin.

First of all open your CorelDraw program. Now create a new file and
set the paper size to A4.

Step 3 : Creating Golden Frame

Now that we have our worksheet set, now we will begin to create
the Golden Frame, using "Ellipse Tool ".
Go to the "Ellipse Tool ", you can find it on the left toolbar, make a
circle shape and then make the circle shape resized into 8 x 10 cm

Create a second circle inside the original circle using the " Ellipse
Tool ".
Resize the second circle to 7,5 x 9,375 cm.

Create a third circle inside the original & second circle using "
Ellipse Tool ".

Resize the third circle to 7,5 x 9,375 cm.

Tips :
To make multiple object automatically centered, select all the object
and press " C + E ". this will make the multiple object centered
Horizontal & Vertical.

Step 4 : Coloring the Golden Frame


Now lets put color in the Golden Frame :
Select the first circle which is the biggest one. Go to the Right
Toolbar, there you will find "Color Palette".
Right Click on the yellow palette in order to change the circle line
color to yellow.

Now select the second circle. Go to the Fountain Fill Tool, which is
in the left bottom toolbar.
Choose Custom fill on the color blend and make the type Linear.

Now you will see a color box. You can change the color by leftclicking it,
fill the color with Gold on the left, Pale Yellow in the middle and Gold
on the right.
You can make a custom fill by double-clicking at the color box.
Fill the color with Light Yellow on the middle left, and another Light
Yellow on the middle right.
Two custom colors in the middle will make the color gradient softer.
Make the Gradient Angle to 90, which will make the gradient
horizontal.

If you doing it right it will look like picture below.

Now lets put color in the third circle, select it and go to the Fountain
Fill Tool,
Choose Custom fill on the color blend and make the type Radial.
In the color box. change the color by left-clicking it,

fill the color with Darkest Red on the left, Dark Red in the middle
and Red on the right.

If you doing it right it will look like this.

After that we are going to make the R font inside the red circle,
in this tutorial i use " English Vivace ", you can change it to
whatever you like.
Go to the " Text Tool " its in the left toolbar, left click anywhere on
the screen and type it.

Now lets put color in it, Go to the Fountain Fill Tool and set the value
the same as the Golden Second Circle.

We are going to put a shadow on it,


go to the "Drop Shadow Tool" in the left toolbar, hold and drag down
till it make a shadow.

Select it and put it on top of the Logo Body

Step 5 : Creating Red Ribbon


We are going to make the Red Ribbon with " Bezier Tool",
Go to the " Bezier Tool " its in the left toolbar, draw a shape by point
& left click

to create a box shape like in the picture below.


Make sure that the last click is connected with the first click or else
you cannot put color on the shape.

Okay now that we have the box look transparent, we are going to
shape it by using "Shape Tool",
Go to the "Shape Tool" its in the left toolbar, then right click at the
top lines box shape,
and find "convert to curves " in the top toolbar.

Now left click at the start and end of the lines and there will be two
dotted arrow,
left click and drag them in order to shape the box.

Apply it to the bottom lines, put red color and shape it like picture
below.

Now draw a small box in the upper left corner of the shape by using
" Bezier Tool ",
like in the picture below.

Using " Shape Tool " and steps like above, shape the small box
similar to picture below.

Fill the small shape with red color, and put it behind by pressing "
Ctrl + PageDown "

Now it look like a flag, we are going to add more flag shape on it,
1Go to the "Bezier Tool" and draw another box next to the small
shape.

Using " Shape Tool " and steps like above, shape the box similar to
picture below.

Put Red color in it, and send it to behind by pressing " Ctrl +
PageDown "

Draw another box using " Bezier Tool ",

Shape it using " Shape Tool " like in picture below,

Draw another box with " Bezier Tool " next to the shape that you just
create.

Shape it using " Shape Tool " like picture below.

Put Red color in the shape that you just created.

Now create the last Flag by making a box shape using " Bezier Tool
"

Shape it using " Shape Tool " like picture below.

Put red color on it, and send it to back by pressing " Ctrl +
PageDown "

Step 6 : Copy & Duplicate

We are going to copy & duplicate the ribbon so it will have both side
right and left.
Select all the ribbon, then while holding " Ctrl + Left + Right mouse "
drag and flip it to the right side.
release the shortcut in order to copy it.

Now that the Red Ribbon already copied, we are going to weld the
center Ribbon.
Select both of the center Ribbon, go to the upper right toolbar and
you will see " Weld, Trim, Intersect " Tool.
Press the " Weld " button in order to weld the center Ribbon.

Step 7 : Coloring the Red Ribbon


We are going to put color in the Red Ribbon,
Start with the Center ribbon Select it and go to the Fountain Fill
Tool, which is in the left bottom toolbar.
Choose Custom fill on the color blend and make the type Linear.
Now you will see a color box. You can change the color by leftclicking it,
fill the color with Dark Red on the left, Red in the middle and Dark
Red on the right.

Now select all of the left side ribbon, go to the " Fountain Fill Tool "
and apply value below.

After that select all of the right side ribbon, go to the " Fountain Fill
Tool " and apply value below.

If you doing it right it will have color like this

Step 8 : Creating the Golden Accent


Now we are going to make the Golden Accent with " Bezier Tool ".

Go to the " Bezier Tool " in the left toolbar, draw a shape by point &
left click and create a shape
similar like below.
Make sure that the last click is connected with the first click or else
you cannot put color on the shape.

As now you know how to shape using " Shape Tool ", shape it using
steps like in step 5,
like in picture below.

Now make a box shape on top of the shape that you just created
with " Bezier Tool "

Shape it using " Shape Tool " and send it to back by pressing " Ctrl
+ PageDown "
.

Step 9 : Coloring the Golden Accent


Now that we have basic shape of the Golden Accent, lets put color
in it.

Select the Big shape and go to the Fountain Fill Tool, which is in the
left bottom toolbar.
Now you will see a color box. You can change the color by leftclicking it,
fill the color with Gold on the left, Pale Yellow in the middle and Gold
on the right.

You can make a custom fill by double-clicking at the color box.


Fill the color with Light Yellow on the middle left, and another Light
Yellow on the middle right.
Two custom colors in the middle will make the color gradient softer.
Make the Gradient Angle to 90, which will make the gradient
horizontal.

Select the small Shape and put color on it by go to the Fountain Fill
Tool, and set the value below.

If you doing it right it will look like this

Step 10 : Arranging the Golden Accent


Now that we have basic shape of the Golden Accent colored, we
are going to arrange it.

Select the Golden Accent, copy, flip and resize it using the same
way as step 6, similar to picture below.

After that draw a box shape using " Bezier Tool " in the right bottom
corner of the Big Golden Accent.

Shape the box using " Shape Tool " as in picture below.

Now we are going to weld it with the Golden Accent,


Select the center Ribbon and the shape that we want to weld, go to
the upper right toolbar
and you will see " Weld, Trim, Intersect " Tool.

Press the " Weld " button in order to weld the Golden Accent and
the shape.

Select them all, copy and flip it by holding " Ctrl + Left + Right
mouse " drag and flip it to the right side.
release the shortcut in order to copy it.

Okay now we are going to make the Center Golden Accent,


Select the little Golden Accent and copy it, we are going to use it to
make a new shape.
Select the little Golden Accent again, copy, flip and resize it using
the same ways as above.

Select them all, copy and flip it by holding " Ctrl + Left + Right
mouse " drag and flip it to the right side.
release the shortcut in order to copy it.

You have created a Logo Body & Frame in step 3 - 4, select and
copy it.
We are going to use it in the center of the Golden Accent, but
remove the R font.
After you select it arrange it on top of the Golden Accent.

Now Select them all, and arrange it on top of the first Golden Accent

Step 11 : Finishing
Okay now we have all the elements, lets put it together.
Select the Logo Body and put it on top of the Golden Accent

Send the Logo Body to back by pressing " Ctrl + PageDown "

Select the Red Ribbon and put it on top of the Golden Accent.

Now send the Red Ribbon to back by pressing " Ctrl+PageDown "

Copy and resize the Center Golden Accent, after that put it on top of
the Logo Body

Final Image
And we are done, you can make it more exciting by adding more
lines or background like the final image below

Floral Accent

Step 1 : Basic Elements


First of all you have to use CorelDraw with version 11+. In this
tutorial I use CorelDraw X5.
Okay lets get started. Lets take a look at the basic elements used
to create our design :

Step 2 : Creating Worksheet


Now that you know the steps and elements, we will begin.
First of all open your CorelDraw program. Now create a new file and
set the paper size to A4.

Step 3 : Creating Front Card


Now that we have our worksheet set, we will begin to create the
Front Card.
Go to the "Rectangle Tool ", you can find it on the left toolbar. Make
a box shape and then make the box shape resized into 4,5 x 9 cm,
which is standard size for Business Card.

Draw a box shape on the bottom of the first box using the "Bezier
Tool ", by point & left click to create a box shape like in the picture
below.
Make sure that the last click is connected with the first click or else
you cannot put color on the shape.

Shape the second box shape by using the "Shape Tool", Its the
second upper left toolbar.
Right click in the lines inside the box shape using " Shape Tool "
and find "convert to curves tool" at the top corner toolbar and click it.

After that you will see two dotted arrows, click and drag in order to
shape it, apply this to all the lines until you make a shape like in the
picture.

Apply it the same to the opposite line.

Step 4 : Coloring the Front Card


Now lets put color in the Front Card.
Select the Big Box shape. Go to the " Fountain Fill Tool ", which is in
the left bottom toolbar.

Choose Custom fill on the color blend and make the type Radial.
Now you will see a color box. You can change the color by leftclicking it, fill the color with Darkest Blue on the left, Dark Blue the
middle and White on the right.
You can make a custom fill by double-clicking at the color box.
Fill the color with Light Blue on the middle Right. and Center offset
Vertical to 35%.

Now select the Small Box shape. Go to the " Fountain Fill Tool ",
which is in the left bottom toolbar.
Choose Custom fill on the color blend and make the type Linear.

Now you will see a color box. You can change the color by leftclicking it, fill the color with Yellow on the left, Deep Yellow at the
middle and Orange on the right.
Make the angle into 90.

Step 5 : Working with PowerClip

Okay now lets put the small Box Shape inside the big Box Shape
using " PowerClip "
Left-click the small Box Shape, and then go to the top toolbar and
find Effect > Powerclip > Place Inside Container.
Then you will see a black arrow, Left-click it to the big Box Shape,
and now you will see that the small Box Shape is inside the big Box
Shape.

You can go "inside" or "outside" the container by holding Ctrl while


double-clicking it.

Step 6 : Creating Swirl Background

We are going to create the Swirl Background using " Rectangle Tool
"
Go to the " Rectangle Tool " its in the left toolbar, make a box shape
and then make the box shape resized into 2 x 9,25 cm.
Arrange it into left side of the Front Card.

Press "Ctrl+Q" to break the box in order to make it shapable.


We are going to shape it by using " Shape Tool "
Go to the shape tool, then right click at the middle right lines box
shape, and find "convert to curves " in the top toolbar.

Now left click at the start and end of the lines and there will be two
dotted arrow, left click and drag them in order to shape the box.

Now draw another on top of the Front Card using " Rectangle Tool ".
Go to the " Rectangle Tool " its in the left toolbar, make a box shape
and then make the box shape resized into 4 x 9,3 cm.
Arrange it into left side of the Front Card.

Shape the box using " Shape Tool " same as steps above, shape it
like picture below.

Step 7 : Working with Transparency


We are going to make the swirl transparent using " Transparency
Tool "

Select the smaller Swirl, put White Color in it and go to the "
Transparency Tool " in the left toolbar.
Left click, hold and drag from the middle to the left side. This will
give transparency effect to the small swirll

Now select the big Swirl and apply the same steps as above.

Step 8 : Copy and Duplicate


Now are going to copy or duplicate the Swirl.

Select both of the big Swirl and small Swirl, and drag it to the
opposite side while holding
" Ctrl + Left + Right " mouse, in order to copy it.

Now select all the Swirls and place it inside the Front Card using "
PowerClip " same as step 5

Step 9 : Importing Floral Accent


If you have read the previous tutorial which is Creating a Floral Logo
in CorelDraw, import or copy the logo into the worksheet.
This will be our Floral Accent.

Select the Floral Logo, and remove the text because we are going
to use the Floral elements only.

Rotate and arrange it into the bottom of the Front Card.

Place it inside the Front Card using "PowerClip" same as step 5.

Now put a name text into the front card, in this tutorial I use "Japan"
font. You can use a font of your choice.
Go to the " Text Tool " its in the left toolbar, and left click to the Front
Card to create a text.

Step 10 : Creating Back Card


Actually the back side of the card is Front Card that rotated
horizontaly so this will be easy.

Select the Front Card, copy it by pressing " Ctrl+C " and paste using
" Ctrl + V ".
Rotate it horizontally.

Remove the Floral logo, name text, and the yellow shape at the
bottom

Select the Back Card and go to the " Fountain Fill Tool ", apply the
value below

Put your company name using " Text Tool "

Final Image
And we are done, you can make it more exciting by change the
color, background or text like the final image below

Step 1 : Basic Elements


First of all you have to use CorelDraw with version 11+. In this
tutorial I use CorelDraw X5, Okay lets get started.
Lets take a look at the basic elements used to create our design :

Step 2 : Creating Worksheet


Okay, now that you know the steps and elements, we will begin.
First of all open your CorelDraw program, now create a new file and
set the paper size to Custom, and change the size into 4000 x 3000
pixel.

Step 3 : Creating the Header


Now that we have our worksheet set, we will begin to create the
Header

First go to the "Rectangle Tool ", you can find it on the left toolbar,
make a box shape and then make the box shape resized into 2621
x 742 pixel.

After that go to the " Shape Tool " and go to the upper toolbar there
you will find corner shape option, set the type into Rounded Corner,
and set the Corner Radius of top left and the right bottom corner to
50 px and 168 px.

Lets put color in it.


Select the box go to the "Fountain Fill Tool ", which is in the left
bottom toolbar, choose custom fill on the color blend and make the
type Radial, fill the color with Dark Blue on the left, Blue on the
middle and Light Blue on the right.

Step 4 : Creating the Notepad


Okay now go to the "Rectangle Tool ", you can find it on the left
toolbar, make a new box shape and then make the box shape
resized into 885 x 635 pixel.

After that go to the " Shape Tool " and go to the upper toolbar there
you will find corner shape option, set the type into Rounded Corner,
and set the Corner Radius to 107 px, apply it on all corners.

Lets put color in it.


Select the box go to the "Fountain Fill Tool ", choose custom fill on
the color blend and make the type Linear, fill the color with Gray on
the left and white on the right.

Now create a tiny Circle Shape using " Ellipse Tool " in the left
toolbar, and resize it to 41 x 41 pixel.

Arrange the Circle on top of the Gray Box Shape, put an Orange
color and copy it as picture below.

After that create a line using " Bezier Tool " by left click and point.

Lets shape it using " Shape Tool ", click on the middle of the line
and find "convert to curves " in the top toolbar, drag the arrow on the
corner in order to shape.

Now go to the " Outline Tool " in the left toolbar and make the line
thicker by applying the value below.

After that arrange the shaped line on top of the Orange Circle.

Using same steps as above create a Horizontal Line and arrange it


on top of the Grey Box.

Now group all the object by selecting it and press " Ctrl + G ",
arrange it on the left side of the Header.

Step 5 : Creating the Header Accent


Lets make the Headers more vibrant by adding more accent, go to
the "Rectangle Tool ", make a box shape and then make the box
shape resized into 1172 x 864 pixel.

Customize the corner using " Shape Tool " and apply the value
below.

Put a Light Blue Color in it.

Arrange it on the upper left corner of the headers.

Lets create another new box shape using " Rectangle Tool " and
resized it as picture below.

Go to the " Shape Tool " and customize the corner by applying the
value below.

Create several small circle on the bottom of the box, using " Ellipse
Tool ".

Now select all the object and go to the upper toolbar, there you will
find " Trim Tool ", press it on order to cut the box.

Lets put color in it, select the box go to the "Fountain Fill Tool ",
choose custom fill on the color blend and make the type Radial, fill
the color with Dark Blue on the left, Blue on the middle and Pink on
the right.

After that, arrange the box into the bottom of the Header.

Copy the box shape and arrange it on top of the Header.

After that go to the " Callout Shape Tool " in the left toolbar, and
create a callout box.

Put Dark Yellow color in it.

Flip and copy the Callout Box by pressing " Ctrl + Left + Right
Mouse " while dragging it to the right.

Arrange both of the Callout Box on top of the Notepad.

Okay now we are going to make the Search Box, create a box
shape using " Rectangle Tool " and resized it as picture below.

Shape it using " Shape Tool " and customize the corner as picture
below.

Put Black color in it.

Now create a small circle using " Ellipse Tool " and resized it as
picture below.

Create a line on the left bottom of the circle using " Ellipse Tool "

Put White color in it, and arrange in on top of the Black Box.

Arrange the Search box on the Right upper corner of the Header.

Step 6 : Creating the Header Texture


Lets create the texture for the Headers, create a box shape using "
Rectangle Tool " and resized it as picture below.

Put Pink outline color in it

After that copy the box by pressing " Ctrl + Left + Right Mouse "
while dragging it to the right, and duplicate it by pressing " Ctrl + D ".

Now select all the boxes, and using same steps as above copy and
duplicate it vertically.

Step 6 : Working with Transparency


Okay now lets make the texture a little transparent, select all the
boxes and go to " Interactive Transparency Tools" , now you see

that in the cursor there is a little glass, Left Click & Drag the cursor,
from left to right, so the transparency will make it linear to right.

Step 7 : Working with Powerclip


Now we are going to use the " Powerclip Tool " to insert the Texture
into the Header, first rotate the Texture by double click it and rotate.

After that arrange it on top of the Header.

Select the Texture, and then go to the top toolbar and find Effect >
Powerclip > Place Inside Container, then you will see a black arrow,
Left-click it to the Header, and now you will see that the Grouped
elements is inside the Black Frame,

you can go "inside" or "outside" the container by holding "Ctrl" while


double-clicking it.

Step 8 : Creating the Website Body

Now we are going to create the website Body, go to the "Rectangle


Tool" and create a box shape, resized it as picture below.

Shape it using " Shape Tool " and customize the corner as picture
below.

Lets put color in it, select the box go to the "Fountain Fill Tool ",
choose custom fill on the color blend and make the type Radial, fill
the color with Light Blue on the left and White on the right.

After that create a new box using " Rectangle Tool " and apply the
value below.

Using " Shape Tool " customize the corner of the box as picture
below.

Put Green color in it.

Arrange the Green box into the Right side of the Website Body.

Copy the Green box and resize it a bit smaller than the original,
arrange it on the bottom of the Green Box and put Pink color in it.

Using same steps as above copy another and put different color in
it.

Now select the Website Body and copy it to the Right Bottom corner
of the Website Body.

Lets put color in it, select the box go to the "Fountain Fill Tool ",
choose custom fill on the color blend and make the type Radial, fill
the color with Dark Blue on the left, Blue on the middle and Pink on
the right.

Now lets create a texture for the Website Body, go to the " Ellipse
Tool " and create a circle shape.

Copy the circle and make it smaller than the original.

Select both of the circle, and go to the upper toolbar, there you will
see " Trim Tool " select it in order to cut the circle.

Put a Light Blue color in the Circle Shape.

Using " Transparency Tool ", make the Circle transparent by


dragging it from bottom to top to make it Transparent Linear Top.

Now copy the Circle and make the copied one smaller than the
original.

Select the Circle and place it inside the Website Body using "
PowerClip " same as step 7.

Select all the object and Group it by pressing " Ctrl + G ", and
arrange it to the bottom of the Header.

Step 9 : Creating the Navigation Bar


Now lets create the Navigation Bar, create a box using "Rectangle
Tool " and resized it as below.

Go to the " Shape Tool " and customize the Left Corner.

Now create a small circle on the left top corner, using " Ellipse Tool
".

Select both of the object, and go to the upper toolbar, there you will
see " Trim Tool " press it in order to cut the box shape.

Lets put color in it, select the box go to the "Fountain Fill Tool ",
choose custom fill on the color blend and make the type Radial, fill
the color with Light Blue on the left,and Pink on the right.

We are going to make the button, go to the " Rectangle Tool " create
a box shape and resized it as below.

Customize the Corner using " Shape Tool ".

Put a Black color in it.

Using " Transparency Tool " make the Shape transparent by


dragging it from Bottom to Top, this will make the Transparency
linear top.

Copy and Duplicate the Shape same as picture below.

Now using " PowerClip " tool, place the Shape inside the Navigation
Bar same as step 7.

After that arrange the Navigation Bar into the Left side of the
Website Body.

Step 10 : Creating the Background


Now lets create the Website Background, create a box using
"Rectangle Tool " and resized it as below.

Lets put color in it, select the box go to the "Fountain Fill Tool ",
choose custom fill on the color blend and make the type Radial, fill
the color with Pink on the left,and Light Pink on the right.

After that go to the "Basic Shape Tool ", its in the left toolbar, after
you click it go to the top toolbar, there you will see an option drop
box, choose water drop shape its second from the last, create a
water drop shape by click and drag it.

Shape it using " Shape Tool " as picture below.

Lets put color in it, select the box go to the "Fountain Fill Tool ",
choose custom fill on the color blend and make the type Radial, fill
the color with Orange on the left,and Yellow on the right.

Copy and Duplicate the Shape and put different color to make it
more vibrant, you can choose any color that you like.

Lets make it transparent by using " Transparency Tool ", set the
transparency type into uniform and apply the value below.

Copy, Rotate, and duplicate the Shape similar like below.

Copy, Rotate, and duplicate it again to make untill it looks like a


balloon flow.

Arrange it on top of the Background.

Now place the Ballon flow inside the Bacground using " PowerClip"
tool same as step 7.

Lets add more baclground to make it vibrant, create a circle shape


using " Ellipse Tool "

Copy and Duplicate it similar as below.

Put color in it, u can use any color you like but in this tutorial i use
Blue, Light Blue, Pink and Purple.

After that lets make it transparent using " Transparency Tool ", drag
it from right bottom corner to left top corner of the Circle to make it
linear transparent.

Copy and Duplicate the Circle similar like below.

Arrange it on the Right top corner and left bottom corner of the
Background.

Now select the Website Header, Body, and Navigation Bar, arrange
it on top of the Background.

Final Image
And we are done, you can make it more exciting by adding more
variation such as text background or texture, like in the final image
below.

tutorial I use CorelDraw X5, Okay lets get started. Lets take a look
at the basic elements used to create our design :

This also will be our steps to create the design.

Step 2 : Creating Worksheet


Okay, now that you know the steps and elements, we will begin, first
of all open your CorelDraw program, now create a new file and set
the paper size to A4.

Step 3 : Creating the Front Side Brochure


Now that we have our worksheet set, now we will begin to create
the Front Side, first go to the "Rectangle Tool ", you can found it on

the left toolbar, make a box shape and then make the box shape
resized into 10 x 20 cm.

After that Flip and copy the box shape by pressing " Ctrl + Left +
Right mouse " while dragging it to the right.

Step 4 : Creating the Brochure Front Elements


Now lets create the Brochure Front Elements, first go to the
"Rectangle Tool ", make a box shape and resized it into 17 x 30 cm.

Go to the " Shape Tool " in the left toolbar, and right click the middle
left side of the box shape, after that go to the upper toolbar and find
" Convert to Curve ".

Now you see that there is an arrow on the corner, drag it in order to
shape, shape it similar like below.

Now go to the " Interactive Contour Tool " in the left toolbar, after
that set the contour type into Inside Contour.

Select the original shape, copy and resized it please make the
copied shape smaller than the original.

Now select the outer shape and put a color in it by go to the "
Fountain Fill " tool in the left toolbar and apply the value below.

Now select the middle shape and put a color in it by go to the "
Fountain Fill " tool in the left toolbar and apply the value below.

Now select the last inner shape and put a pink color in it.

After that create a Triangle shape using " Bezier Tool " in the left
toolbar, point and click to create the shape, make sure the last click
is connected with the first, or else you cannot put color in it.

Using " Shape Tool " shape the Triangle shape similar like below.

Lets put a color in it by go to the " Fountain Fill " tool in the left
toolbar and apply the value below.

Copy the shape and create 2 more similar shape with different color,
you can use any color that you like but in this tutorial i use green,
blue and pink mix.

Now that we have our 3 different color shape, copy and rotate the
shape similar like below.

Copy and rotate it again similar like below.

Make it more vibrant by copy and rotate it again.

Step 5 : Working with Transparency


Now we are going to add some effects to the elements, select all
the elements and copy it, arrange it on top of the original elements.

Select the copied elements, put a white color in it, and go to the "
Interactive Transparency Tool " in the left toolbar, now you see that
the cursor are changing into glass, drag it from top to the right
bottom corner of the elements to make it transparent.

After that select all the elements, flip and copy it similar like below,
make sure that the copied elements are smaller than the original.

Select all the elements, flip and copy it again.

Step 6 : Working with PowerClip


Okay now we are going to insert the Elements into the Middle
Shape that we have made previously, select the elements and go to

the upper toolbar and find Effect > PowerClip > Place Inside the
container, then you will see a black arrow, Left-click it to the Middle
shape, and now you will see that the Elements is inside the Middle
shape.

After that copy some of the Elements.

Arrange the elements into bottom of the Shape.

Select both the Shape and the Elements and rotate it.

Now select the Elements and copied it again, put gray color in it.

Make it transparent by go to the " Interactive Transparency Tool "


and apply the value below.

Copy and arrange the elements on top of the Shape.

Now select all the objects, and group it by pressing " Ctrl + G ", after
that arrange it on top of the Front Side Brochure that we previously
made.

Select the Grouped Object, and place it inside the Front Side
Brochure using " PowerClip " same as step 6.

Step 7 : Creating the Back Side Brochure


Okay lets create the Back Side Brochure, first go to the "Rectangle
Tool ", you can found it on the left toolbar, make a box shape and
then make the box shape resized into 10 x 20 cm.

Copy some of the Elements and arrange it on the Left top corner of
the box shape.

Place the elemets inside the Box shape using " PowerClip" same as
step 6.

Now copy the Shape and put it on the Left bottom corner of the box
shape.

Place the shape inside the Box shape using " PowerClip" same as
step 6.

Now Flip and copy the Box shape similar like below.

Copy the Gray elements that we previously made.

Arrange it on top of the Back Side Brochure.

Final Image
And we are done, you can make it more vibrant and exciting by
adding more color, text and elements like the final image below.

Step 1 : Basic Elements


First of all you have to use CorelDraw with version 11+. In this
tutorial I use CorelDraw X5, Okay lets get started. Lets take a look

Step 2 : Creating Worksheet


Okay, now that you know the steps and elements, we will begin, first
of all open your CorelDraw program, now create a new file and set
the paper size to A2 which is standard poster size.

Step 3 : Working with Bezier and Shape Tool


We are going to use these tool a lot in this tutorial, first go to the "
Bezier Tool " in the left toolbar, point and click to create a custom
box shape similar like below, make sure the last click is connected
to the first click if not you cannot put color in it.

After that go to the " Shape Tool " in the left toolbar, and double click
and drag in the left middle lines to create a custom corner.

Use same way as above to shape the Box similar like below, this
will be our base for the illustration.

Now we are going to make the lines curvy by right click on the
middle lines between the corner and find " Convert to Curves " in
the upper toolbar, now you see that there is an arrow in the corner,
hold and drag to shape it.

Shape it similar like below, make sure all the lines is converted into
curves.

Put Black color on the Base.

Step 4 : Working with Envelope Tool


We will begin to create the illustration starting with the Hat, go to the
" Bezier Tool " and create another custom box shape.

Shape it using " Shape Tool " same ways as step 3.

Now go to the " Text Tool " , left click anywhere on the screen and
type any words that you want, in this tutorial i use " Harabara" font
that you can download in this site, make sure the text that you type
are in different size in order to make it vibrant.

After that select the text and go to the " Interactive Envelope Tool "
in the left toolbar, after you press it go to the upper toolbar and find "
Curve envelope type " , click and drag to shape the text similar like
below.

After that lets put color in it by go to the " Fountain Fill Tool " and
apply the value below, you can make custom color by left click on
the color box.

Step 5 : Working With PowerClip


Okay now arrange the colored text on top of the Hat shape.

After that, we are going to insert the Text into the Hat shape using "
PowerClip", left-click the text and then go to the top toolbar and find
Effect > Powerclip > Place Inside Container, then you will see a
black arrow, Left-click it to the Hat shape, and now you will see that

the Text is inside the Hat Shape, you can go "inside" or "outside" the
container by holding Ctrl while double-clicking it.

Now arrange the Hat shape on top of the Black base that we
previously create.

Step 6 : Creating The Illustration


Now you already know how to work with " Bezier and Shape Tool ",
create a custom box shape like in picture below.

Shape it using " Shape Tool ", make sure you change all the lines
into curves.

Now create a text shape, type anything that you like, and shape it
using " Envelope Tool " same ways as step 4.

After that lets put color in it by go to the " Fountain Fill Tool " and
apply the value below, you can make custom color by left click on
the color box.

Now place the text shape inside the First shape that you previously
create using " PowerClip " same as step 5.

Select it and arrange it on top the Black base.

After that create another custom triangle shape using " Bezier Tool
".

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below.

Copy the first Colored text shape.

Rotate it by double left click the text shape, and arrange it on top of
the custom shape that you previously create.

Place the Text shape inside the Custom shape using " PowerClip
Tool " same as step 5.

Now copy the custom shape and put it on the lower side of the
original shape.

Now select both of the custom shape and group it by pressing " Ctrl
+ G ", after that arrange it on top of the Black Base.

After that copy the custom shape , put yellow color in it and place it
on the Hair side of the Black base.

Okay now we are going to make the Face, starting with cheek, go to
the " Bezier Tool " in the left toolbar, point and click to create a
custom box shape similar like below, make sure the last click is
connected to the first click if not you cannot put color in it.

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below, this will be our
cheek.

Now create another triangle shape using " Bezier Tool ".

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below.

Arrange it on the right side of the Cheek.

After that create another custom shape using " Bezier Tool ".

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below, this will be our
nose.

Arrange it on the right side of the custom shape that you previously
create.

After that create a custom " L " shape using " Bezier Tool ".

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar as below.

Arrange it on the right side of the Nose shape that you previously
create.

Create another Triangle shape using " Bezier Tool ".

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below.

Arrange it on the middle right side of the Cheek.

After that we are going to make the right side Cheek, create a
custom shape using " Bezier Tool " same as below.

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below.

Arrange it pn the right side of the Nose.

Now we are going to create the upper lips, create another triangle
shape using " Bezier Tool ".

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below.

Arrange it on the right bottom side of the Cheek.

After that we are going to create the bottom lips, make a custom
box shape using " Bezier Tool ".

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below.

Arrange it on the bottom of the Upper lips.

Now we are going to make the Neck, go to the " Bezier Tool " and
create a custom triangle shape similar like below.

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below.

Arrange it on the bottom of the Cheek.

After that we are going to make the Shoulder, go to the " Bezier Tool
" and create a custom box shape similar like below.

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below.

Arrange it on the bottom right side of the Face.

Create another custom box shape using " Bezier Tool " similar like
below.

Shape it using " Shape Tool " similar like below.

Arrange it on the bottom of the Face.

Step 7 : Inserting the Text into the Illustration


Now that we have our base Illustration, we are going to insert a text
inside it, copy the Text shape that you previously create.

Shape it using " Envelope Tool " similar like below.

Now rotate the text shape and place it inside the Cheek, using "
PowerClip ".

Using same steps as above, apply it on all of the Illustration.

After that select all of them and group it by pressing " Ctrl + G " and
arrange it on top of the Black base.

Step 8 : Creating the Background

Now that we have our Illustration ready, lets make the background,
go to the " Ellipse Tool " in the left toolbar, create a box shape and
resize it as below.

Now please download the Background texture in the Tutorial Assets


above, after you download it import it inside the Worksheet by
pressing " Ctrl + I ".

After that arrange the Background Texture on top of the Black


Bacground.

Place the Texture inside the Black background using " PowerClip "

After that select the Illustration and arrange it on top of the


Background.

Now we are going to add some elements in the Poster, go to the "
Bezier Tool " and create a custom box shape similar like below.

Put pink color in it or any color that you like.

After that go to the " Interactive Transparency Tool " in the left
toolbar, now you see that the cursor are changing into a glass, drag
it from bottom to top in order to make it transparent.

Copy and duplicate it, and arrange it on top and bottom of the
Background.

Place it inside the Background using " PowerClip Tool ".

Final Image
And we are done, you can customize it by adding more color, text,
shadow or texture like the final image below.

Step 1 : Basic Elements


First of all you have to use CorelDraw with version 11+. In this
tutorial I have used CorelDraw X5.
Okay lets get started. Lets take a look at the basic elements used
to create our design :

Step 2 : Creating Worksheet


Okay, now that you know the steps and elements, we will begin.
First of all open your CorelDraw program. Now create a new file and
set the paper size to A2, which is a standard size for posters.

Step 3 : Creating Perspective Effect


Now that we have our worksheet set, now we will begin to create
the Perspective Effect.
First Go to the "Text Tool ", you can found it on the left toolbar,
create a text object by left click on the screen and type any word
you want, in this tutorial I use " gitchgitch " font which you can
download here.

After that select the font object, and press " Alt + A + B " to break the
font spacing.
After it breaks, arrange the web text into the bottom of the entheos
text.

After that, select all the text and convert it into object by pressing "
Ctrl + Q " it will be easier to modify.
Now select all the objects and go to the upper toolbar, there you will
see the " Weld, Trim, Intersect " Tool.
Press Weld in order to weld it.

Now we are going to make a line around the object using " Contour
Tool",
Select the object and go to the Contour Tool, its in the left toolbar,
after that go to the upper toolbar, there you will see an option

contour dialog, make the contour type Outside Curve, Contour


Offset 0,1 cm, and the outside color Red and Fill color yellow.

Okay now we are going to apply the persepective effect into the
object.
Go to the Top toolbar and find Effect > Add Perspective.

There will be an perspective points on the corner, Drag the


perspective point to make an angle.Apply it as picture below.

Step 4 : Creating the Extrude Effect

After the perspective is applied, we need to separate the outline


from the object.
Go to the Top Toolbar, and find Arrange > Break Contour Group
Apart.
This will separate the outline and the object.

Now select the Outline and go to the " Interactive Extrude Tool " its
in the left toolbar.
Hold and Drag the outline to create an extrude effect, to be more
accurately please apply the value below.

Okay now we are going to put color in the text object.

Select the text object, go to the " Fountain Fill Tool " in the left
toolbar, Choose Custom fill on the color blend and make the type
Linear.
Now you will see a color box. You can change the color by leftclicking it, fill the color with Light Yellow on the left, middle and right
side of the color box.
You can make a custom fill by double-clicking at the color box.
Fill the color with Gold on the middle left, and another Gold on the
middle right.
Custom colors in the middle will make the color gradient softer.
Make the Gradient Angle to 270, which will make the gradient
horizontal.

Now lets put color on the front extrude object.


Select the Front Extrude object, and go to the " Fountain Fill Tool ".
Using the same way as above apply the value as in picture below.

After that we are going to put color on the bottom Extrude Object,
Select the bottom Extrude Object and go to the " Fountain Fill Tool ".
Using the same way as above apply the value as in picture below.

Now copy the Text Object by pressing " Ctrl + C " and paste " Ctrl +
V ".
Put a black color in it and press " Ctrl + PageDown " to send it to
back.

Step 5 : Creating the Glowing Effect


To make it more realistic, we are going to put a Glowing Effect into
the text object.

We have to apply it per letter, select the " e " on the text object, and
copy it.
After that put a white color in it.
As the color is white, I will make a temporary red background so we
can see the object.

After that select the " e " , and go to the " Interactive Transparancy
Tool " in the left toolbar.
Now you will see that the cursor are changing into a glass object,
Hold and Drag it from the right corner to middle of the " e " object to
create a transparency effect.

Apply it one by one to all the letters.

After it applied into all the letters, we are going to add more glowing
effects on it.
Create a tiny circle on the side of the object, using " Ellipse Tool " in
the left toolbar

Now select the tiny circle, and go to the " Interactive Drop Shadow "
tool in the left toolbar.
Hold and drag it on top of the Transpareny object.

After that go to the upper toolbar, There you will see an shadow
option, set the shadow opacity into 80 and shadow feathering into
60.

Apply it using same way as above to all the letters.

Step 6 : Creating the Background


Okay now lets create the background for our 3D Object.

Create a box shape, using " Rectangle Tool " in the left toolbar.
Resize it to be as same size as our worksheet, which is A4 (29,7 x
21 cm )

Now put a color in it using the " Fountain Fill Tool " and apply the
values below.

Now put the 3D Object on top of the background.

After that go to the " Bezier Tool " its in the left toolbar, draw a shape
by point & left click to create a custom shape on top of the
background like in the picture below.
Make sure that the last click is connected with the first click or else
you cannot put color on the shape.

Put a color in it by go to the " Fountain Fill Tool " and apply the
values below.

After that draw another similar custom shape using " Bezier Tool "
as in picture below.

Put a color in the second custom shape by go to the " Fountain Fill
Tool " and apply the value below.

After that draw another similar custom shape using " Bezier Tool "
as in picture below.

Put a color in the third custom shape by go to the " Fountain Fill Tool
" and apply the values below.

After that draw another similar custom shape using " Bezier Tool "
as in picture below.

Put a color in the last custom shape by go to the " Fountain Fill Tool
" and apply the value below.

Step 7 : Working with Powerclip


Now we are going to insert the Custom Shape into the Background
using " PowerClip"

Left-click all the Custom Shape, and then go to the top toolbar and
find Effect > Powerclip > Place Inside Container.
Then you will see a black arrow, Left-click it to background, and now
you will see that the Custom Shape is inside the Background.
You can go "inside" or "outside" the container by holding Ctrl while
double-clicking it.

Step 8 : Adding More Background


Now lets create more background to make it more interesting.

Create a box using "Rectangle Tool "

Go to the " Shape Tool " in the left Toolbar, find the corner of the box
and drag it to customize the corner.

Copy and paste the box, make it 3 in a row and column,

Now select all the boxes, and go to the " Interactive Envelope Tool "
in the left toolbar.
After that go to the upper toolbar, there you will see an envelope
option.

Make the envelope type into Single Arc mode, Hold and drag the
middle point to shape.

Shape it like in the picture below.

Okay now we are going to apply the persepective effect into the
object,
Go to the Top toolbar and find Effect > Add Perspective.
There will be an perspective points on the corner, Drag the
perspective point to make an angle.

Apply it as picture below.

Now put the object behind the 3D Effect Object.

Final Image
And we are done, you can make it more exciting by adding more
variation, background or texture.

Step 1 : Basic Elements


First of all you have to use CorelDraw with version 11+. In this

Step 2 : Creating a Worksheet


Now that you know the steps and elements, we will begin.
First of all open your CorelDraw program. Now create a new file and
set the paper size to A4 with a landscape view.

Step 3 : Working with the Bezier Tool

Now that we have our worksheet set, now we will begin to create
the Floral Shape, using the "Bezier Tool".
Draw a shape by using the "Bezier Tool", point & left click to create
a thin triangle shape like in the picture below.

Tip : Make sure that the last click is connected with the first click or
else you
cannot put color on the shape.

Step 4 : Creating the Floral Shape


Shape the triangle by using the "Shape Tool", Its the second upper
left toolbar.
Left click in the triangle using " Shape Tool " and find "convert to
curves tool" at the top corner and click it.

After that you will see two dotted arrows, click and drag in order to
shape it, apply this to all the lines until you make a shape like in the
picture.

Left click and drag the bottom line in the shape using " Shape Tool ",
to create a new node and shape it using " convert to curves ", to
make it more natural.

Step 5 : Coloring the Floral Shape


Now lets put color so it will look more natural.
Select the Floral Shape. Go to the Fountain Fill Tool, which is in the
left bottom toolbar.
Choose Custom fill on the color blend and make the type Linear.

Now you will see a color box. You can change the color by leftclicking it,
fill the color with Light Blue on the left, Cyan on the middle and Dark
Blue on the right.
You can make a custom fill by double-clicking at the color box.
Fill the color with Cyan on the middle left, and another Cyan on the
middle right.
Two custom colors in the middle will make the color gradient softer.
Make the Gradient Angle to 27, actually you can change this as you
please, but in this tutorial lets make it 27.

If you do it right it will look like this

Now using the same steps as above, create another 3 Floral shape
in different colors.
Try using Pink / Purple, Green & Yellow color variations, but you can
choose any color that you like.

Tip : More custom colors in the middle will make the color gradient
softer.
Try to play in the light to dark color scheme, it will look more natural.

Step 6 : Creating the Floral Texture


Lets now begin to make the Floral Texture,

as now you know how to work with "Bezier Tool" & " Shape Tool " .
Create 5 thin Triangle with " Bezier Tool & Shape Tool " using the
same way as Step 3 - 4.

Shape it using " Shape Tool" and put a Light Blue color in it.

Step 7 : Transparency & PowerClip


Now that you have the Floral Texture, lets apply it into the Floral
Shape.
But first we are going to make it a little transparent so it will blend
nicely.

Go to Interactive Transparency Tools, its in the left bottom toolbar,


Left Click & Drag the Floral Texture, to the bottom, so the
transparency will make it linear to bottom.

After that, we are going to insert the Floral Texture into the Floral
Shape using " PowerClip"

Left-click the Floral Texture, and then go to the top toolbar and find
Effect > Powerclip > Place Inside Container.
Then you will see a black arrow, Left-click it to the Floral Shape,
and now you will see that the Floral Texture is inside the Floral
Shape. You can go "inside" or "outside" the container by holding Ctrl
while double-clicking it.

Apply it on the other Floral Shape, using the same ways as step 6 7.

Step 8 : Arranging the Floral Shape


Now that we have 4 Floral Shape, lets arrange them into the
position.

Using "Pick Tool " click one of the Floral Shape and double Left click
until you see a rotating arrow.
Left click and Drag, in order to rotate the shape.

Using the same way as above, arrange the other Floral Shape into
the position like below.

Copy and duplicate it using " Ctrl + C" and " Ctrl+ V", to make it
more dense.

Step 9 : Creating Bubbles


We are going to make the Bubbles,
Using the " Ellipse Tool " Left click and drag to create a circle, find it
on the left toolbar.

Copy or duplicate the circle using " Ctrl+C " & " Ctrl+V", resize and
arrange them like in the picture below.

Put a White Color on the Circle, and put the circle on top of the
Floral Shape.

Step 10 : Transparencing the Bubbles


Now we are going to make the Bubbles Transparent, so it will look
like a water drops.
Go to Interactive Transparency Tools,
in the Interactive Transparency Tools go to the upper left toolbar.

There you will see a transparency type, set it to Radial.

If you are doing it right it will looks like this

Step 11 : Creating Sparkle


We are going to create the sparkle to make the bubbles shiny.
Go to the Banner Shape Tool, after that go to the Top toolbar,
there we can choose the shape that we are looking for.
Choose the last shape in the toolbar, which is the exploding shape.

Put a white color in it, and arrange it into the Bubbles.

Final Image

background or text like the final image below

Step 3 : Creating the Liquid Text

Now that we have our worksheet set, we will begin to create the
Liquid text, go to the "Text Tool" pick any type of font that you like
but in this case I use basic "Arial Rounded" font.

Break the font by pressing "Alt + A + B", after its break convert it into
object by pressing "Ctrl + Q", we will begin to create the effect with
the letter "L".

Go to the "Shape Tool", and right click on the middle left side of the
"L", now you will see an arrow on the corners drag it in order to
shape.

Apply the same to the middle right side of the "L".

Apply it on all the side, shape it similar like below, we are basicaly
editing the letter so it looks more "Fluids".

After that lets put color in it, go to the "Fountain Fill Tool" and apply
the value below.

Step 4 : Creating the Liquid Effect


After that go to the "Freehand Tool" and create a custom shape that
flow into the left side of the "L" similar like below.

Go to the "Drop Shadow Tool" put light blue color on the shadow
and drag it to the left side of the "L".

Create another custom shape that wrap the bottom right side of the
"L" using freehand tool.

After that go to the"Drop Shadow Tool"put light blue color on the


shadow and drag it to the left side of the "L".

Now break all the shadow by pressing "Ctrl + K", and put the
shadow inside the "L" using Effect > Powerclip > Place inside
container.

Copy it with different size similar like below untill it shaped like a
heart pattern.

Now create a custom needle shape using "Bezier Tool" similar like
below.

Shape it using "Shape Tool", make sure you follow the flow of the
"L"shape to create a natural water effect.

After that go to the "Transparency Tool", after the cursor turning into
glass, drag it from bottom to top to create similar transparency.

After that we are going to add details, create a star shape using
"Bezier Tool" and put white color in it.

Arrange the star on top of the flow shape that you previously create
and apply the transparency value below.

Now create a custom shape on the right bottom of the "L" using
"Freehand Tool" make sure you follow the flow of the shape to
create a natural effect.

Go to the "Transparency Tool" and apply the value below to create


similar.

After that go to the "Ellipse Tool" and create a small circle to create
a tiny bubble.

After that using the same technique as above create more


transparent custom shape to the upper side of the "L".

If you apply all the steps above it will look similar like below.

Okay now we begin to edit the letter "i".

Go to the "Shape Tool" and shape the "i" similar like below so it will
look more fluid.

After that break the shape using"Ctrl + K"and select the bottom
shape and put color in it by go to the "Fountain Fill Tool" and apply
the value below.

Select the dot and go to the "Fountain Fill Tool" and apply the value
below.

After that create a custom shape on the left side of the "i" using
"Freehand Tool".

Go to the "Drop Shadow Tool", put light blue color on the shadow
and drag it on top of the "i".

Break the shadow by pressing "Ctrl + K" and put it inside the "i"
using Effect > PowerClip > Place inside container.

Okay similar to the "L", create the water effect on the "i" make sure
you follow the flow of the shape.

You can copy the effect as much as you like to create more detailed
water gloss.

Now that you got the idea, using the same technique as above
apply it to all the letters.

Step 5 : Creating the Bubbles


Okay now we are going to add bubbles to the text, go to the "Ellipse
Tool" and create a circle of any size.

Put color in it by go to the "Fountain Fill Tool" and apply the value
below.

Add gloss effect to the circle using"Shape Tool"and"Transparency


Tool".

After that arrange and resize the bubble anywhere on the Liquid
text.

Copy the bubbles as many as you like to make it more natural.

Step 6 : Creating the Background


Okay now lets create the background, go to the "Rectangle Tool"
and create a box shape with the size of "20 x 13 cm".

You can put any color that you like but in this case I use dark blue
gradient to match it with the Liquid text.

Now I need you to create a custom shape similar like below using
"Bezier Tool".

Shape it using "Shape Tool" this will be our background texture.

Put pink color in it, and go to the "Transparency Tool" and apply the
value below.

Now copy the shape into 3 and make different size for each.

Now group the whole thing by pressing "Ctrl + G", after that flip and
copy it similar like below.

Now insert the texture inside the background using "Effect >
Powerclip > Place inside container".

Final Image
And we are done, by using the same technique as above you can
add more details to make it more natural like the final image below.
