Work Experience
-Writes programs for CNC machines using manual and Computer Aided Design-Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAD-CAM)
methods (feature-cam, master-cam).
-Design, or reverse engineer aircraft parts
-Designs, welds, heat treats, fabricates, and machines precision tools, components, and assemblies for aerospace weapon systems and
related support equipment
-Supervise, teach, guide, and mentor lower ranking individuals
-Advises on metals machining, welding, designing, and production problems.
-Designs, manufactures, or modifies special precision tools, gauges, dies, and fixtures to facilitate metal working operations.
-Performs metals technology shop calculations such as determining cutting speeds and settings, welding processes, and preheat and
post-heat requirements.
-Welds, brazes, solders, and heat treats metals.
-Uses manual and computer numerical controlled (CNC) metal working machines, mills, and lathes to manufacture and repair cams,
gears, slots, and keyways for aircraft components and Ground Equipment.
-Checks completed components and determines serviceability in accordance with drawings and specifications.
-Disassembles, assembles, and fits component parts using machine screws, bolts, rivets, press fits, and welding techniques.
-Uses metal working equipment, tools, and supplies to produce surface finishing specifications for components.
-Extracts broken or damaged hardware.
-Checks components for wear tolerances using precision measuring devices.
-Maintains and inspects hand tools and metal working machinery.
-Performs all types of maintenance and service inspections on shop equipment and tools. -Ensures lock out and tag out procedures are
accomplished prior to maintenance on all equipment.
-Uses and disposes of hazardous waste and materials according to environmental standards.
-Planning new or modified electrical installations ie: connecting fixtures and power equipment, installing control and distribution
apparatuses, connecting cables to equipment
- Substation work; changing capacitors, troubleshooting faulty equipment
-Testing of circuit continuity.
- Dealing with 4-20 mili amp (for calibration purposes)
-Repairing both a/c and d/c electrical equipment
-Troubleshooting/ repairing CNC machines
-Troubleshooting and repairing 400 ton overhead cranes

- Dealing with high fire and low fire signal devices for furnaces, air sensors, gas sensors,

-Calibrations on black body furnace devices and various other devices
-Troubleshooting and/ or replacing of temperature control devices, and various other instrumentation on Industrial furnaces at a
component level if possible.
this in not all inconclusive of the electrical instrumentation responsibilities

-Fabricating parts, brackets, cabinets (for electrical devices) using welding techniques
- Machining; Manual lathes, Mills, and other shop equipment

Maintenance-
-Repair plant-wide electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic devices on blow-molding machines/ plastic extrusion machines
-Troubleshoot PLC, servo, vfd, and robotics
Troubleshoot and repair electrical components
-Change machine dies/ do machine change overs
-Repair tow motors
Quality Inspector-Inspect product to ensure customer standards are being met or exceeded.
-Use precision measuring equipment to test surfaces, holes, and all other parts of the product to ensure maximum quality
-Wall thickness testing, and weight testing of product
-Air tests to ensure product has no pin holes.
-Drop tests, and various other testing procedures to ensure product is maximum quality.
