Recruitment Board ferwestiw Note: Candidates should note that in case a communication is received from their employer by the RRB concerned withholding permission to the candidates applying for/ appearing at the examination, their candidature is liable to be rejected / cancelled. 5. Candidates applying against reserved vacancies (SC/ST/OBC) and/ or seeking age relaxation must submit requisite caste certificate in the prescribed format from the competent authority (The Certificates, as applicable should be submitted during document verification). Otherwise, their claim for reserved status (SC/ST/OBC) will not be entertained and the candidature of such candidates, if fulfilling all the eligibility conditions for General (Un-reserved) category, will be considered under General (UR) vacancy only. 6. All extra candidates should note that even though they are provisionally selected for a particular Category, Railway & Community as extra candidate, they will be considered (as and when required) for all those categories as per their options/ job priorities (subject to merit & vacancy) in original online application. Hence merely calling for document verification does not give them any right to appointment in Railways, as they are called for document verification only to make up for short fall of notified vacancies. 7. All candidates should note that after completion of document verification of all candidates ie. both (333 Main + 120 Extra Candidates), any candidate provisionally selected for particular vacancy to attend document verification can become extra candidate at the end ‘of document verification due to various possible genuine reasons and complications due to JUGGLERY of rules of reservation as mentioned below in para 8&9. 8 SC, ST & OBC candidates failing to produce original caste certificate during document verification will be considered under UR quota only subject to Merit, Vacancy, Marks and ‘Age suitable for UR Due to above reason a candidate selected under reservation quota for better job priority because that particular job vacancy was over above his merit under UR quota though he is having various other job priorities under UR quota, but he was selected for better job priority by availing reservation quota, will be given next lower job priority subject to Merit and Vacancy position under UR quota only in case of failing to produce original caste certificate Therefore due to this process some of the UR candidates selected for a particular vacancy to attend document verification can become extra candidates after document verification, because a reserved candidate higher in merit is now taking UR post as he is unfit for SC, ST & OBC due to non ~ submission of caste certificate. 9. As per rules of reservation for Ex- Servicemen and Persons With Disability (PWD), any candidate selected under Ex- Servicemen or PWD quota should be adjusted against his own community and accordingly one vacancy will be reduced under respective community while filling up UR, SC, ST & OBC vacancies other than Ex-Servicemen & PWD quota.
