GLOBAL DAY OF FASTING AND PRAYER FOR CAMEROON, Thursday, DEC.

15, 2016
INTRODUCTION /RELEVANCE/RATIONALE:
In light of the current events that have taken our nation by storm (the civil disobedience and chaotic
turn of events following the heavy handed response by government), and considering the recent urgent
prophetic outcry against the church in Cameroon (see page 3), and the fervent desire of God fearing
sons/daughters of the land to seize upon divine provisions (2Chron.7:14-15), the Global day of Fasting
& Prayer for Cameroon has been declared for Dec., 15, 2016.
2Chron.20:13-14. All Judah was standing before the LORD with their infants, their wives, and
their children. In the middle of the congregation, the Spirit of the LORD came on Jahaziel (son of
Zechariah, son of Benaiah, son of Jeiel, son of Mattaniah, a Levite from Asaph's descendants)
Let every saint in the land arise: men, women, boys, girls, the old & seasoned, the young and nave,
everyone who names the Name of the Lord (2Tim2:19); let ALL arise and stand before God on behalf
of Cameroon! We plead for prayers not only from believers in the country or those with kinship tied to
the land, but also from all Saints (Eph.2:19-20) who would heed the call (Is.62:6-7).
The following prayer guide has been drafted to facilitate this effort. People are encouraged to invest at
least 18 hours of fasting starting at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) through 6:00 p.m. during which time
these points shall be tabled before God. Fellowship groups are encouraged to come together
(Matt.18:19-20) at end of day and conclude their prayer time before breaking the fast.
-----------------------------1. Acknowledgement of Almighty God: Ps.100:1-5: Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, Enter
His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise; He is the Eternal King (Ps.90:1-2); the
Almighty God, Jehovah El Shaddai (Gen. 17:1-2); Elohim, the Creator (Gen.1:1, Jn.1:3)
2. Confession of sin.
Gen.18:20-21. Then the LORD said, "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is immense, and
their sin is extremely serious. I will go down to see In times past, the stench of evil from
Sodom/Gomorrah came up before God. Translate this fact to our time, what kind of flavor is rising
before God from Cameroon? Think in light of long standing practices of corruption witnessed at all
levels of society (according to Transparency International 2015, Cameroon ranked 7th among most
corrupt countries in Africa). Corroborating the above assertion are the lists of grievances tabled by
various segments of society as justification for the current civil disobedience gripping the country. To
these, add the brutality of law enforcement against citizens, corruption among elected/appointed
officials, violence by the masses etc. The Church also is beleaguered by waywardness (infighting
among leadership, ansence of fellowship even within same denomination, idolatry/adultery of all forms
among members), and much more. Some of the most corrupt figures in the country are bigwigs in
church as well!
Can you hear the cry against our nation because of all the wickedness within our borders?
(Jonah 1:2. Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and cry against it; for their wickedness is come
up before Me.). Do you see any parallels with the recent charge against the Church (see page 3)
Where you and I fit in, what we can do and the basis for action: 2Chron.7:14. If my people,
which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their
wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

The indictment Is.59:1-6. Indeed, the LORD's hand is not too short to save, and His ear is not
too deaf to hear, But your iniquities have built barriers between you and your God, your hands
are defiled with blood, they trust in empty/worthless words, devise evil plans
Therefore, intercede like Daniel (please read Dan.9:3-5, 6, 8) to obtain forgiveness (1Jn.1:9)
-------------------------

3. Appreciating the Lord: Do you have a reason to praise the Lord? Therefore, praise His Name in
song & glorify Him with thanksgiving (Ps.69:30). While we are at it, think of His Love (Jn.3:1617; Jn.10:10); His mercy, compassion and grace (Ps.136:26); His goodness (Ps.107:1); His care
(Is.46:3-4); He rescues/delivers/redeems (Is.47:4; Is.49:7). Think of how chaos has been largely
avoided during the ongoing crises and praise God for His restraining power on evil (2Thes.2:7)
4. Seek God for the government (The Administration, Legislature, Judiciary)
Pray for president Paul Biya and all members of govt: that the reverence of God would be in
their hearts, for all authority is actually from Him (Rom.13:1; Jn.19:11)
Pray for godly wisdom in the exercise of their duties (1Kings 3:9 Therefore give to Your
servant an understanding heart to judge Your people, that I may discern between good and
evil)
Pray against wrong/bad advise that leads to wicked decisions (Prov.29:12. If a ruler pays
attention to lies, all his officials become wicked)
Pray for a shakeup of the government, & that the Lord would surround the highest office in the
land with people of integrity who revere His Name and govern like stewards who will give an
account to the Almighty (Heb.4:13)
Law enforcement: pray for wisdom on the job, and against brutality
The MPs: that deliberations be genuine, upholding national interests above any hidden selfish
personal ambitions (Ps.94:20. Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which
frames injustice by a law?)
Righteous justice ushers in prosperity (Prov.8:20-21 I walk in the way of righteousness, along
the paths of justice, giving wealth as an inheritance to those who love me, and filling their
treasuries."). Pray accordingly.
Pray for purging of the judicial system (Woe to those who acquit the guilty for a bribe and
deprive the innocent of justice Is.5:22-24)
Pray for swift sweeping decisions that preserves the nation and preserves the dignity of man.
Frustrate the devices of the elements of darkness among the people (Is.54:17)
5. Seek God for the church
Pray that the church will review her ways and return to her First love (Rev.2:4) that the True
Light of Life may once again be seen in our land.
Pray for an out pouring of the Spirit according to promise (Acts.2:17) that His Church may
revive.
Consider Matt.5:13-14, and pray for the Body of Christ accordingly.
6. Seek God for the people
Plead with God for mercy on Cameroon (Matt.9:36. When He saw the crowds, He had
compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.)
Ask the Lord to bless Cameroon in every area (Matt.9:35) having cleared obstacles (Is.59:1-2)
Pray that no social services or amenities shall be lost or suffer any interruptions throughout the
national territory.
Pray that every citizen will have the courage to deny giving a bribe to obtain services (at least
60% of Cameroonians confessed to have given a bribe in exchange for services in 2015,
according to Transparency International)
Expose all those who are agents of corruption at all levels and call for the heavy Hand of the
Lord to find them out (Is.49:26)
Seek God for love & respect for one another to reign amongst us that selfish interests and
arrogance may not destroy us (Matt.12:25)

Document #1: PROPHECY (VISION) FROM UGANDA FOR CAMEROON

Prophecy (Vision) for Cameroon delivered by two Ugandan brothers in Christ.
A church in Uganda took a 40 days fast for its internal needs. After 40 days of
fasting, the leader had a vision; here it is:
"A great mountain rising from the center of Africa and covering the entire sub-region and beyond!
When they looked closer, this mountain was established in Cameroon and glory beamed to beyond the
sub-region. At the foot of the mountain, rose trees that grew up towards the top of the mountain. The
leaves of the trees were covered with black packets. These trees were all growing together with the
same height and were all covered with black jackets. The black jackets were representing authority and
power. Reaching the top of this mountain, all the trees stopped growing with the exception of two, who
grew up to the top, took the jackets of all the other trees such that these two trees became very
powerful.
The Lord told him: The trees are the churches in Cameroon and jackets are the authority and power
that they possessed and the two trees that continued to grow and took the authority of the others are
witchcraft and religion. These are the two powers that entered in the Church and destroyed its authority
and power. Churches in Cameroon had started growing in power and authority until they gave their
authority and power to witchcraft and religion. The Lord told him that the Devil had evil plans against
Cameroon; abundant bloodshed; plans of war in Cameroon! Also did He give (the Lord God) until end
of 2017 to the Church to return from her wicked way, to repent and to intercede for the nation against
these evil plans. After 2017, it will be too late!! The Church must wake up and return to God!! Only an
awakened church can destroy the plans of hell!!! If the Church would wake up and alter the evil plans
that the wicked one has against Cameroon, the glory of the latter will be greater than the first but she
has until the end of 2017 to do so. After 2017, it will be too late!"
The brothers immediately took flight to Cameroon to where we met and listened to them. They
departed from Yaound and boarded the train that had the tragic accident claiming many lives on
Friday 21/10/2016.
Our two brothers have gone home into the Lord's presence after completing their mission in our nation.
We have listened and we have verified that it is a message that comes from the Lord our God.
Therefore, make good use of the words that the Lord has given us through them.
Church, let us rise as one man and plead for the grace of our God, who knows, if the Lord will be
gracious to us and He will turn away from his fierce anger!!! Nineveh had only 40 days; He gives us
more than a YEAR. Let's return to our God!!! Read JOEL 2: 11-24.
We give glory to the Lord for the blessing they have been to us and give Him all the glory for their
end.

NB: When I stated to reflect on this, it came to me in my spirit that the time line is not end of 2017, but
rather Dec 31, 2016 (i.e. we had 7 full weeks (49 days) before start of 2017), which explains the
urgency of the need. In hindsight, I think this makes some sense seeing the sudden rapid degeneration
of things in the country within the past 3 weeks. Prayer program: currently in week-5. Thank you!
Humbly yours in Christ, Stephenson Nkinin)
