Petrophysical evaluation of Dariyan formation using wireline logs in south pars

field

Abstract
In this study, petrophysical evaluation is made in Dariyan formation by using well log data of two
selected wells. Probabilistic method is used for petrophysical evaluation by applying Geolog6.6
software. According to this evaluation the lithology of Dariyan formation is mainly composed of
limestone and in some parts dolomite. Analysis of wire line data shows that this formation has a
high porosity. The average porosity (PHIE) and water saturation (SW) are found to be 24.1 % and
30.9 % respectively.
