3. Site Preparation
3.1.

Location where to install the panel is free from any obstruction.

3.2.

Foundation where to install the MV panel is ready as per panel dimensions

and approved drawing.

3.3.

Availability of the panels at site.

3.4.

All tools available to use in installation of panel.

4. Installation
4.1.

Coordinate installation of MV panels with cable and race way installation

and shall be installed accordance with the manufacturer instruction,
applicable requirements of SASO, NEC and NEMA and the accordance
with the recognized industry project to ensure that products serve the
intended function.

4.2.

Joint the MV cubical sections with each other on the foundation

accordance with the manufacturer Instruction.

4.3.

Align, level and securely fasten the MV cubicle sections on the foundation.

4.4.

After leveling of the MV cubicle, couple the internal busbar with nuts and
bolts.

4.5.

Closed properly all unused opening of the MV cubicle sections.

4.6.

Install equipment grounding connection for MV panel with the earthing bar
and earthing bar shall be connected to the grounding system.

4.7.

Tighten electrical connections and termination of MV panel according to

the manufacturers recommendation.

5. Inspection
5.1.

MV Panel Nameplates: Each MV panel with engraved metal or laminated

plastic nameplate mounted with corrosion -resistant screws.

5.2.

Prior to energization, check MV panel for electrical continuity of circuits and or

short circuit. (This shall be done during megger testing).

5.3.

Check all out going cables are connected as per MV panel schedule.

5.4.

Grounding of MV panel in connected and tested.
