Felony in violation of Iowa Code Section 124.401(1)(b)(8), committed as follows:
On or about December 18, 2015, in Sac County, Iowa, Defendant knowingly
possessed more than five grams of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver
the same. Defendant was in the immediate possession or control of a firearm
while participating in this violation.

County Iowa and in the name and by the authority of the State of Iowa, accuses
Defendant, Richard Brian Kraft (Defendant) of the crime of CARRYING
WEAPONS, an Aggravated Misdemeanor in violation of Iowa Code Sections
724.1 and 724.4(1), committed as follows: Defendant, Richard Brian Kraft, on or
about December 18, 2015, in the County of Sac and State of Iowa, did unlawfully
and willfully and knowingly carry and/or transport a loaded pistol or revolver in a
vehicle.

COMES NOW, the State of Iowa, by and through the undersigned,
and hereby states the following in support of its Motion for Continuance:
1. That the parties have a tentative agreement conditioned upon
the disposition of Defendants case in federal court.
2. That Defendants sentencing in the aforementioned federal case
is scheduled for some time in late November 2016.
3. That for the reasons set forth above, the trial should be
rescheduled to January 24, 2017 at 9:00 a.m., in the courtroom at the
