Managed Truck contracts for $10M portfolio and supervised daily operations for
25 carriers and 12 loading plants, solving problems to ensure safe and on-time
loading and delivery.
Managed Rail Transload contracts for $3M portfolio and daily operations for 5
third party rail transload sites. Creating solutions for challenges with the railroads,
sites or carriers to ensure safe and on-time loading performance.
Negotiated yearly cost savings by identifying opportunities for process change or
third party efficencies including:
o $350k in savings delivered in 2015 outside of contract negotiations.
o Creating competition for existing Gulf Coast carriers, resulting in reduced
rates delivering $100k cost savings.
Managed Third Party performance through quarterly scorecards to measure
service and review challenges as required. Ex: Created a performance
improvement plan for a rail transload provider. Coached management team to
correct multiple issues aligning their performance to standards.
Managed Third Party Safety management setting safety expectations for contract

Petrochemicals Commercial Distribution Supervisor


February 2000-March 2003
Managed a team of 5 professionals providing inventory control support for
extensive third party distribution network of 40 sites. Yearly efforts to optimize
inventory control activities resulted in a 32M pound reduction in 2002, which
delivered a working capital reduction of $8M.
Marketed and commercially supported the Vendor Inventory Management
program for Petrochemicals in North America. The first year of the program
enabled sales to enter into long-term supply contracts with major customers
increasing revenue by over 10%.
Developed and released a web communication platform for the North American
Distribution Network. The web-based application delivered a one-time cost
savings of $1.4M in working capital reductions and reduced the Days Sales
Outstanding cycle time. The application also streamlined communication with
each third party site improving ERP data integrity for over 16k orders, 37k
transactions covering $250M sales.
