Adolf Hitlers Childhood

Most researchers believed that the childhood of Adolf Hitler had a
huge impact on his later accomplishments and helped create his state
of mind and personality.
Adolf Hitler was born in Braunau, Austria on April 20 th 1889. Hitler
had five other siblings but Hitler and his sister, Klara Polzl, lived to
become adults. Adolf was a very moody child and was hostile towards his
father due to his constant abuse of his father. The fact of Hitlers father
being abusive might have been one of the main contributors of Hitlers
later decisions. Kids in abusive homes usually tend to become cruel and
violent. Hitler was so ashamed of his childhood that he painted pictures of
his parents as elegant people and lied about them. His father soon died in
1903 and two years later, at age 16, Hitler dropped out of school and
moved to Vienna to become a painter and worked as a menial laborer.

both times. While he was in Vienna, Adolfs mother died of breast cancer
causing him to lose his home and sell water colored post cards to survive.
Hitler soon inherited his fathers possessions and treasures and moved to
Munich in 1913. (USHMM. Adolf Hitler: Early Years, 18891913. United

Hitler avoided Austrian Military Services, but volunteered to serve in
the German Army. This was the starting point to Adolf Hitlers soon
accomplishments. In WW1, Hitler became a decorated officer. After the
war, Hitler was furious about the outcome and was not happy about the
Treaty of Versailles. Hitler soon joined what would become the Nazi Party
and started to work his way up in leadership in 1919. (Biography.com.

Adolf Hitler had a very hard and challenging childhood. It was
probably not like most kids at the time. Hitler believed that the Jews were
the main reason for his life problems which is where the hatred for Jews
first began to form in him.
