LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Students will:
1. Students will use an online website to complete quizzes and gather online information.
2. Students will develop computer skills of how to complete a step-by-step process online.
3. Students will identify their capability of using the website by recording their results.
4. Students will develop a deeper self-understanding by identifying their multiple intelligences
and interests.
ASSESSMENTS
Observations:
Learners are engaged with the teacher and during instructions (eye
contact, head nods, etc.)
Students are following along with the steps I am going through with them.
Students are completing worksheet

How does one follow steps within a website to gather
information?

over in health (Grade 5s missed Friday!)
Do this in class first.
- Identifying strengths and weaknesses
- Passions and interests

- Today we will be exploring what career choices match
our interests.
- We will be taking a quiz that matches us with careers
that connect to our interests!
- We will also be exploring what our multiple intelligences

- It is important to know your multiple intelligences
because this can help you learn and study. What type of
learning you are?

Start by going over what the students will be doing.
Go step by step through the process.
This will be done in class.

2. On the right hand side of the page, there is a orange log
in box.

4. Read and scroll down to the Self Assessment
Quizzes and Exercise
5. Finish two quizzes, the Multiple Intelligence Quiz and
the Interest Quiz
During the quiz:
Agree is chosen if that point relates to you
Disagree is chosen if that point does not describe you
If you are stuck on a question, put your hand up or
guess
Submit once all questions are answered
Check the chart to see your strengths and weaknesses
organized
If there is a tie, between two categories, you choose
which characteristic you agree with more. (move the
Rank up or down)
There cannot be to Ranks with the same
number
Submit
Record results
Once you have shown the process. Hand out worksheets.
Go to computer room.
Check for understanding using thumbs up thumbs down.
Learners are engaged with the teacher and during instructions

Walk around classroom, checking students progress and work.
Make sure students are on the right track and are able to use
the program with little difficultly.
Math Games:
Once they have tried the two quizzes, have the students work
on the math game sites they know about.
I am not sure what they sites are called.
Check with teacher
Walk around classroom helping the students still on their
quizzes, students on math games should not have problems.
If they do, help them as well, but make the priority on quizzes.
