Hitlers Childhood
Period 1
Adolf Hitler was born in Braun au am Inn in Upper Austria on April 20th,
1889 to his parents Klara and Alois Hitler. He was baptized catholic. One
might think that Hitler wished to lead from a young age but that isnt the
case. What he really loved was art. His father was greatly disapproving of
this idea as shown by this quote in hilters biography Mein Kampf my father
forbade me to entertain any hopes of taking up the art of painting as a
profession. I went a step further and declared that I would not study anything
else. He was beginning to rebel against the authority of his father. Hitler
then applied to the Vienna academy of arts and was rejected as cited on
ushm.m.org.
In 1898 his family moved to Linz, the capital or Austria. With this change
Hitler speaks of himself in mein kampf I think an inborn talent for speaking
now began to develop and take shape during the more or less strenuous
arguments which I used to have with my comrades. He is speaking of the
followers he had at school. He even speaks of himself as a ringleader. Soon
after Hitler wrote it was at this period that I first began to have ideals of my
own. So with this move of his he truly begins to mature and as he said have
his own thoughts and opinions. This characteristic will play a large role in
who he came to be.
German politician Georg von Shonerer, but his strategy and tactics from
Lueger.
With all the information listed Hitlers childhood becomes much more clear.
How that boy became the man behind the mustache is still a mystery to me.
As a child he had depth, he wasnt always thought of as the feared
chancellor of Germany, but as an artistic boy who knew just what to say.
