Are immigrants
benefitting or harming
the country?

Who are the

immigrants?
The United States has
always been, and will
probably always be a
country with a high
dependence on
immigration. People from
all around the world are
constantly moving in to the
United States due to
various reasons. It has been
stated that undocumented
immigrants who are present
in the United States are
commonly from Central, and
South America, Asia, and
sometimes from South
Africa.

Good or Bad?
People
are

whether
if

of
immigrants
benefits or harms the Unites
States and its economy. Many

It is estimated that around $10

million to $200 million is being
spent in health care, around
$109 billion is used to educate
illegal aliens annually, and $1.6
billion spent in prisons where
undocumented immigrants are
present. It is also believed that
immigrants displace American
workers, and due to these
circumstances taxes are raised.

But are
undocumented
immigrants really
hurting the
country?

On the other hand, people

wonder if is there any way in
which immigrants could be
positively affecting the U.S?
Many immigrants come from a
variety of backgrounds in which
different jobs are performed.

countries with a good

Solving the Issue

The
U.S.
depends
on
immigrants for many reasons.
However, it is difficult to create
an accurate conclusion when it
comes to illegal immigration.
Undocumented
immigrants
evidently cause a huge impact
in the country. The truth is that
how negative or positive this
impacts are, depend on each
persons point of view.
The
number
of
illegal
immigrants could be shortened,
not
by
creating
more
immigration
laws,
but
by
reinforcing the existing laws,
and allowing people wanting to
come
to
the
U.S
the
opportunity to do it through a
legal process.
