1.1 Measure Your TV Hole Pattern


Measure the width and height of your TV hole pattern in mm.
Record your measurements for STEP 1.2.

1.5 Attach TV Bracket


Position your TV bracket configuration (A, B, C, D, E or F) onto your TV, making sure the bracket is both centered and level over your TV hole pattern.
NOTE: The hanging tab H on TV bracket 01 must be oriented toward the top of the TV.
Secure the TV bracket using your selection: (a) screw/washer or (b) spacer/screw/washer.
IMPORTANT: Ensure TV bracket is securely fastened before moving on to the next step.

Drywall covering the wall must not exceed 5/8 in. (16 mm)
Minimum wood stud size: common 2 x 4 in. (51 x 102 mm) nominal 1 x 3 in. (38 x 89 mm)
Minimum horizontal space between fasteners: 16 in. (406 mm)
Stud centers must be verified not all walls have conventional 16 in. (406 mm) stud spacing

1. Locate studs. Verify the center of the stud(s) using an awl, a thin nail, or an edge to edge stud finder.
2. Level the wall plate template 16 and mark the hole locations in the center of the studs.

3. Drill pilot holes then remove the wall plate template 16 .


IMPORTANT: Be sure to drill into the center of the stud.
IMPORTANT: Pilot holes must be drilled to a depth of 3 in. (89 mm), using a 7/32 in. (5.5 mm) diameter drill bit.
4. Install the wall plate 17 using four lag bolts 18 and four washers 19 . Tighten all lag bolts only until they are pulled firmly against the wall
plate.

CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injury or property damage! All four lag bolts

movement of the wall plate 17 . Ensure the wall plate is securely fastened to the wall before continuing on to the next step.

For concrete applications, the base of the arm 21 (STEP 3) must remain centered in the wall plate 17 . Keep this in mind when selecting the
wall plate 17 location.

1. Level the wall plate template 16 and mark the hole locations (two bottom, four top).
2. Drill pilot holes into solid concrete. Never drill into the mortar between blocks.
IMPORTANT: Pilot holes must be drilled to a depth of 4 in. (101 mm), using a 3/8 in. (10 mm) diameter drill bit.

3. Remove the wall plate template 16 and insert six concrete anchors 20 (two bottom, four top).

CAUTION: Be sure the anchors are seated flush with the concrete surface.
4. Install the wall plate 17 using six lag bolts 18 (two bottom, four top) and six washers 19 (two bottom, four top). Tighten all lag bolts only
until they are pulled firmly against the wall plate.

CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injury or property damage! All six lag bolts

3.1 Attach Arm Assembly to Wall Plate


1. Position the arm assembly 21 on the wall plate 17 by tilting the top into the wall plate channel C , then rotating the bottom toward the wall.

CAUTION: Avoid potential injury or property damage! For concrete applications, the base of the arm 21 must remain centered in the wall plate

NOTE: When mounting to wood stud walls, arm assembly 21 can be adjusted within the wall plate 17 for optimal positioning.

3.2 Attach TV to Arm Assembly


HEAVY! You may need assistance with this step.
1. Hang the TV onto the arm assembly 21 by first hooking the hang tab H , then resting the TV into place.
2. Lock the TV to the arm assembly 21 with locking screw 24 using hex key 27 .

CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injury or property damage! Locking screw

24 must be installed to secure the TV to the arm assembly 21 .

3.3 Manage Cables


1. Fit cables inside of cable covers 25 and 26 .
2. Install cable covers 25 and 26 onto arms.
IMPORTANT: Fully extend arm 21 to ensure you have enough slack in the cables during operation.

3.4 Install Cover Plates


Bow the middle of each cover plate 28 to slip the ends into the channels of the wall plate 17 .
NOTE: Hex key 27 can be stored behind the upper cover plate for future use. Before installing the covers, use the hex key to make any
necessary adjustments, as shown on pages 22 23.

Your TV should adjust easily when moved, then stay in place.

If your TV is too loose or too tight, remove end cap from the nut at the
bottom of the bolt, adjust the top tension bolt B with a 7/32 in. hex key
(not supplied) using a 9/16 in. wrench (not supplied) to hold the nut in
place.

If your TV is too loose or too tight, adjust the side tension knob
T by hand or use hex key 27 .

NOTE: Once your TV is in place, tighten the top tension bolts B to


prevent unwanted movement and replace end cap.

To adjust the leveling of your TV:

CAUTION: Avoid potential injury or property damage! DO NOT adjust the arm from
the center postion for concrete applications. The base of the arm 21 MUST remain
centered in the wall plate 17 for concrete applications!

Loosen leveling screws L using hex key

El yeso que recubre la pared no debe exceder los 16 mm (5/8'').


Tamao mnimo del montante de madera: comn 51 mm x 102 mm (2'' x 4'') nominal 38 mm x 89 mm (1 1/2'' x 3 1/2'').
Espacio horizontal mnimo entre los elementos de sujecin: 406 mm (16'').
Se deben verificar las partes centrales de los pernos, no todas las paredes tienen una separacin convencional de 406 mm (16").
1. Localice los montantes. Verifique el centro de los montantes con un punzn o un clavo delgado, o bien utilice un detector de bordes de montantes.

Espesor mnimo del hormign: 203 mm (8'').
Tamao mnimo del bloque de cemento: 203 x 203 x 406 mm (8'' x 8'' x 16'').
Espacio horizontal mnimo entre los elementos de sujecin: 610 mm (24'') inferior, 406 mm (16") superior.

NOTA: Una vez que el televisor est en su lugar, ajuste la tornillo de tensin B para evitar un movimiento indeseado.

SANUS warrants its products to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the products Warranty Period. The Warranty Period starts on the original purchase date of the product.
What the Period of Coverage Is:

How to Get Warranty Service and What We Will Do:
For warranty claims made during the Warranty Period, SANUS will replace any defective product part free of charge. If a part of your SANUS Simplicity product fails, call SANUS at 1-888-333-1376 to make a
warranty claim. We will discuss the problem with you and once we confirm the product is under warranty, we will ship replacement parts at no cost to you within 72 hours. This Limited Warranty does not cover the
costs of removing and replacing defective parts from your SANUS Simplicity product. So, if your problem requires a repair technician, you must pay any labor charges.
Additional Limits on the Warranty:
The Limited Warranty is automatically void if your SANUS Simplicity product is modified in any way, improperly installed, taxed beyond its stated weight capacity or otherwise misused or abused. All SANUS products are
intended for indoor use only and any outdoor use voids this Limited Warranty. The Limited Warranty for wall and ceiling mounts is void if the mount is moved from its initial installation.
How State Laws Relate to the Warranty:
