Senior Project Engineer

Job Description
Engineering Resource Associates, Inc. is currently looking to fill the role of a Senior
Project Engineer position in our Warrenville office. The primary role of this position is to
be one of the leading project engineers on phase II design for roadway, infrastructure,
utilities and stormwater improvement assignments for municipalities, counties, and state
agencies across northern Illinois. This person will also be responsible for overseeing
and directing the workload of design engineers at the firm. This position involves client
contact and some assistance with proposal development when needed. Some of the
expected qualifications and benefits for the position are included below.
Qualifications/experience should include:
7+ years of experience
Licensed professional engineer in Illinois
Previous municipal engineering experience on transportation and infrastructure
related projects including but not limited to roadways, intersections, streetscape,
lighting, parking facilities, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, water mains, etc.
Familiarity with IDOT documentation procedures and state and federal funding
sources
Previous experience coordinating with clients, scheduling tasks and interaction
with reviewing agencies and other stakeholders necessary
Ability to work independently and manage other engineers
Ability to multi-task and take on multiple projects at a time
Previous experience with construction engineering and administration a plus
Proficiency in technical and business writing
Assist in proposal development
