EDUC 206
My Principles
My first principle as a Music teacher is let my students have enjoyment, enthusiasm and
confidence through practical involvement like singing individually or in groups, letting them
play the musical instruments or teaching them how to play one in certain times, or even clapping,
tapping or stepping the simple and complex rhythmic patterns.
Another principle of mine as a Music teacher is to make my students learn in a pragmatic
way than learn (if they will learn) in a boring day of ALL THEORY AND HISTORY lesson,
by playing or singing a song or a pop song they like, making them clap, move or dance, showing
visuals or symbols that applies to the subject matter or describes and/or relates to the history of a
composer, place and the likes.
