Management in Trust Bank Limited. I would like to express my thanks and convey my

Mehdad, Senior Officer, HR Planning & Resourcing, HRD for helping me in different ways to
complete my report.

I am also owed to each person who I bothered inside and outside of Trust Bank Limited, Uttara

Corporate Branch, in order to complete this report.

Executive Summary
Trust Bank Limited is one of the leading private commercial banks having a spread network of
108 branches & SME centers, 175 ATM Booths, over 20,000 Pay points and 65 POS in 55
Branches across Bangladesh and plans to open more branches to cover the important commercial
areas in Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and other areas in 2016. The bank, sponsored by the Army
Welfare Trust (AWT), is first of its kind in the country. With a wide range of modern corporate
and consumer financial products Trust Bank has been operating in Bangladesh since 1999 and
has achieved public confidence as a sound and stable bank.
I have been worked with one of the major department of this bank Remittance department
especially locally remittance collection activities are greatly emphasized. Trust Bank operates
and

coordinates

its

activities

to

ensure

smooth

functioning

of

the

organization at all levels by ensuring right number of people is available at the right time to do
the right job. Not only that I have also gained insight into the working culture of the organization
and observed how Trust Bank handles its employees with value and empowerment to ensure they
are

motivated

to

give

their

best

to

the

organization.

The report starts with an organization profile of Trust Bank giving its background, mission,
vision, its products and services, the hierarchy and organogram of the organization. Following
that section contains information about the job, which are just tasks and responsibilities during
my internship period at the Bank. The next section is the largest which comprises the project,
Human Resource Management in Trust Bank Ltd. The project encompasses introduction to the
topic, recruitment, selection, orientation, compensation and benefit, training and development.

Each chapter contains detailed discussion of the HR functions with relevant examples followed
by organization Practice in Trust Bank Ltd which basically conveys how things are done in the
HR Department of the Bank. The next part of the project carries out SWOT Analysis that touches
upon strengths, weakness, Opportunities and Threats. The organization followed by results and
discussion

on

critical

factors

regarding

Human

Resource Management of Trust Bank. Finally there is the conclusion followed by references.
Chapter one is the introductory part of the report. In this section background of the report,
objectives of the report, limitations of the study. Chapter two portrays the Review of Literature
about Human Resource Management. Chapter three contains Methodology of the Report.
Chapter four contains Profile of Trust Bank Ltd. Chapter five includes Human Resource
Management in Trust Bank Ltd. Chapter six contain mainly findings of the report. Lastly, chapter
seven includes conclusion and recommendations based on last three years performance in Trust
Bank Ltd.
