By the end of the lesson, the learner will have used and practiced have/has
got + adjectives + noun within the context of describing celebrities in a party
so later on they could be able to talk about their own and their classmates
features.
During this PPP lesson, I would like to reduce my TTT and maintain a nice
learning atmosphere.
Learners have already practiced how to conjugate the simple present in
affirmative and negative statements.
These learners are A2, beginners (180hrs) and have one-hour class every day.
By this time, these students are in seventh grade and study at Villa High junior
high school. There are seventeen students between twelve and thirteen years
old; there are seven teen girls and eight teen boys.
These learners have struggled with oral production and grammar. They are
good at blending the grammatical structures and understanding English, they
are not very good at speaking, though.
The mentioned students are mainly motivated to learn English, because they
are expected to pass the English subject, which is part of their junior high
course. They could also be motivated in learning English because they are
interested in knowing about English native famous people and celebrities
gossip; some students are motivated by learning the lyrics from their favorite

songs.
I prepared this lesson, mainly because it is what the school has asked me. In the
future, the learners are supposed to answer and do some tasks in the book. The
lesson I prepared, will demonstrate the students how to describe themselves
and others. I used images taken from hot celebrities in order to make the lesson
more interesting to them.
