January 2014
Dear Parents & Guardians of Highgate Heights Students,
We at Highgate Heights have been privileged enough to receive 80
iPad devices and 30 Acer Tablets for use by the students to enhance their
learning and engagement with the Common Core Learning Standards.
Student cooperation in using the tablets is vital for the success and
longevity of the program. We must work together to educate our students
and instill respect for these devices. These devices will be able to help your
child improve their performance and open the door to activities and develop
skills that will help to make your child successful in and out of school.
Please review the rules from your childs teacher and sign the
contract together agreeing to uphold the rules together to ensure these
devices are available for future generations.
Thank you for all your support.
Sincerely,
Highgate Heights Technology Department
Buffalo Board of Education
