Introduction

The pharmaceutical industry discovers,

develops, produces, and markets drugs or
pharmaceuticals for use as medications.[1]
Pharmaceutical companies may deal in
generic or brand medications and medical
devices. They are subject to a variety of
laws and regulations that govern the
patenting, testing, safety, efficacy and
marketing of drugs.
The modern pharmaceutical industry traces
its roots to two sources. The first of these
were local apothecaries that expanded from
their traditional role distributing botanical
drugs such as morphine and quinine to
wholesale manufacture in the mid 1800s.

Site is situated at S.C.O -326 phase one

`industrial area panchkula. Name talfon
pharmateuticals. This factory basically is a
manufacturer of ayur vedic medicines.
There is proper pathway for visitors is
provided. Proper lift for stock shifting is
provided . the building is three story. Rooms
where also provided for the workers working
there. Ground floor include reception area
waiting area and most of the manufacturing
plants are placed, first floor include testing
plants raw material storage are and the
packing area , second floor is used for
storage

Site analysis

 Site is north east facing.

Building is not well ventilated but light is
also properly provided.
Light comes from east to west the
building.
Light remains for the much longer time
in the industry.
Wind flows from north east to south
west.
The site was situated away from the
main road so amount of noise is less.
Building is protected from summer heat.

maintained.
No open spaces are provided.
No proper parking spaces are provided.
Some part of the industry were dark so
artificial lighting was used.

summer heat.
The plan of the building is very
complicated.
