Describing the communication discipline and each of its central questions were easy
when I was a sophomore I was asked to do something similar to this in doing so it was a quick
assignment I thought because you can apply communication to anything in the world today.
Explaining the origins of communication and discipline was me going on google and finding out
when it actually came to light. That was origin of the communication discipline dates back to as
far as 1914 in Chicago when a bunch of teachers voted that Nca or better known as the national
communication association should be formed. Which was I stated in my paper knowing the
history of the major and my passion for the subject was important to me and ever since 1914
Communication has had major support. Summarizing the board nature of the communication
discipline . Anything there is not a job out there in America that does not have some form of
communication weather is interpersonal communication, tech communication or something of
that nature you must communicate. Communications majors tend to master skills like how to
effectively craft an argument, speak publicly, write clearly, and synthesize information that are
attractive to employers. When I exclaimed this I could not have bought my point home better
then saying that. The path ways and career development and communication discipline from
related areas of study was tied in to my graph that I showed at the bottom of my document.
