Bobby (Question 2)
In the 1800s education appeared to be very rigorous and difficult as
opposed to what education is now. However, I think literacy has changed
drastically over the years with technology, and other means of learning. I
think we as a society are more literate now than what we would be in the
1800s. Back then all they had was a pencil, and paper, and couldnt travel
very far like todays society can. I hardly knew any criteria when reading the
questions after the article.

The State of Louisiana Literacy test

The real purpose of this test is to literally make you fail. The amount of time they give is
literally almost nothing. If you were not prepared or did not have at least a bit of education you
would not pass at all. They also made it to if you missed only one question you would
automatically fail. I personally barely had time to pass and I stumbled on one but was able to
regain.
