Professionalism and Understanding
You are professional and showed your enthusiasm to improve and develop as a teacher during this TP. You
collaborate well with your peers and mentors and clearly take your teaching practice seriously. You have
shown your organizational and communication skills.

Planning for Learning

You have worked on improving your lesson planning to implement best practice with engaging activities for
the students. Keep working to develop the strong language focus and further develop your lesson planning
phases so there are phases that focus on modelling and group practice as well as activities.
Implementing and Managing Learning
You showed much improvement in lesson observation 3. Your planning for this lesson was better and you
had much more attention to details such as giving clearer instructions and directed modelling.in this lesson
you had good management of student behavior which allows them to focus on their work. Be sure to
scaffold the content of the lesson and your modelling.

Monitoring and Assessing

Make sure you listen to students and check their work in whole-group settings to create formative
assessment and learning opportunities. Always monitor throughout the lesson and give feedback to the
class and individual students too.

Critical Reflection
You have shown reflective practice in that you are willing and able to see both the strengths and
weaknesses of your lessons but tried to put into action areas that you need to improve and change some
of your teaching methods.

Final Comments for focus and development during TP next semester

Well done Aisha. You have shown much development and improvement overall in your teaching and
planning. Next TP think of new more creative ways to deliver your lessons so they are student-centered
and less teacher centered. Keep up the good efforts.

lesson planning, especially the phases of each lesson
Develop more strategies that better scaffold and model reading for your students
Your lesson pacing has improved but keep this in mind when you think of the time you will give
