    Disease & Organ: Endometrial Hyperplasia, Uterus

    Etiology: unopposed increase in estrogen


    Causes of etiology: anovulation, increased endogenous
    estrogen, exogenous estrogen
    Pathogenesis: Increased proliferation of estrogen
    Microscopic: Non-Atypical Hyperplasia, increased
    gland:stroma ratio

    Disease & Organ: Brown Atrophy, Heart


    Etiology: senile atrophy
    Pathogenesis: decreased cells reduction in size
    Gross:
    Microscopic: widened interstital spaces, lipofuscin
    pigments (residual autophagic bodies)
