Lisa is more than prepared to take on teaching.


She has the skills and knowledge to begin her
career. As Lisas previous teaching round was
VCE, she reflected and adjusted her approach to
teaching, not only through mentor teacher
feedback, but from the feedback from students.
She was sensitive to the needs of students and
facilitated success for all students.

Planning was exceptional- sequences were based

situations. Lisa took the time to learn some of the
Google Apps that is used in the school. She took
on all the challenges of teaching in Year 6 with the
greatest of success.

Lisa conducted herself like a teacher with years


worth of experience in the way she interacted with
a cohort of 53 Year 6 students. Over the 5 weeks
with our students, Lisa developed their critical

Strengths
Congratulations on an exceptional teaching round. You displayed professionalism, care and innovation
in your planning and delivery of lessons. The prioritization of student wellbeing meant that you built
relationships quickly and seamlessly with our staff and students and was evident in the students
interactions with you, as well as they commitment to their work with you.
Throughout the rounds you became a valuable and equal member of the Year 6 team. We trusted your
decisions and lesson sequences because you delivered evidence based material and led your own
reflection. I believe you will be an asset to any school community that you join. Good luck your future
rounds and career!
