provides a broad interpretation of human condition and also monocausal
explanation of all present and future history . It also emphasis on power and
political struggle.

Q2 Why is treaty of Versailles important ?

A Treaty Of Versailles can be regarded as the most important treaty because by
virtue of this treaty League of nations was formed and also it pave the way for
Second World War . This treaty was regarded by the Germans as a grave insult
because of war guilt clause which blamed Germany for World war 1 and held
Germany to be liable for all the damages caused by the War .

Q3 What is international relation ?

A . International relation is the study of relations between countries including the
role of states , intergovernmental organization , international non governmental
organization , non governmental organization and multi national corporations .It is
both an academic and public policy field .
Q4 what is the scope of IR ?
A The scope of IR maybe defined by the subfields it encompasses . Traditionally the
study of Ir was focused on International security studies ie war , peace , military
and so forth . But after cold war this subfield also encompasses regional and ethnic
conflicts .Another subfield of IR can be regarded as International political economy
and it encompasses north south relations , trade and financial relations , foreign
aid , technological and environmental issues.
Q5. Define foreign policy
A . Foreign policy can be regarded as the explicit and implicit actions of government
officials designed to promote national interests beyond the territorial boundary of a
country . It is the extension of domestic policy . It protect and promote interests of
a nation .It involves of setting of goals and means to achieve desired results. The
elements of foreign policy are : national interest , national goals , national strategy ,
national security policy , international economic policy and diplomacy.
Q6. State about usa and Bangladesh relation .
A Bangladesh and Usa has a long history . During the bangladeshs war of
liberation in 1971 , Usa was a staunch supporter of Pakistan and assisted Pakistan
during the war. After the emergence of Bangladesh , Usa did not recognize

Bangladesh at once but later on did it in 1972 and ever since that relation between
these two countries grew strong . Usa assisted Bangladesh during cyclone relief
operations in 1997 and 2007. According to former Usa ambassador dan mozzena
usa wants to secure peaceful , prosperous, healthy and democratic Bangladesh .
Usa is one of the largest market for Bangladeshs export . In 2012 US bangla
Partnership Dialogue was signed between these two countries . In 2013 Usa and
Bangladesh signed Trade and Investment Cooperation Forum Agreement .The
relation between usa and Bangladesh will seem to grow even stronger in near
future.
