RESOURCE DESCRIPTION
Give a brief description of the technology/resource.
Animoto is a video production and presentation tool. Students can easily add short video clips, pictures,
voice over, animated text, and music. The website is very intuitive, and even students with no video
experience can easily create a polished product.

INTEGRATION IDEA - COLLABORATION

How might you integrate this resource in a lesson plan to promote collaboration among students in your
classroom, or among students and others outside of the classroom?
One thing that would be really cool to do would be to have students create a short video trailer for a
book. Students can easily add dramatic music and voice over to make a cinematic-style teaser for their
reading assignments. You could keep it literary by having students include the major themes in their
trailer. For example, A classic tale of religion vs. superstition for Huck Finn.
