THE IMPORTANCE OF RESEARCH

The objective of the research is to find the system/mechanism/law/pattern/formula by

analyzing the data. Finding the system is the job of the researcher itself. The researcher as the
discoverer in finding the system, while the system is created by God. When the researcher
conduct the research, meaning that the researcher believe that everything works under the
certain system. Therefore, it is called as an assumption. To find the system, the researcher
has to conduct an analysis through the data because the system is hidden behind the data.
After the researcher successfully find the system, he/she will have the knowledge. By
having the knowledge, the researcher will be able to develop the competence. Competence is
the most useful parts of human. Why? Because by having competence, we can do something
useful for others. The higher competence that we have, the higher modal that we get. When
we have higher competence, our value as human will be higher too. Hence, it is important to
have the competence.

Researcher is the one who conduct the research to find the system by analyzing the
data. Analysis is the keyword for the researcher. The purpose of analysis is to breakdown the
data in order to find the system. When the researcher know the system, she/he will be able to
know how it works. Therefore, if there is something wrong with the works of the system that
generate the wrong result, the researcher will know in which part or process that run wrong.
The final product of the researcher is the information about system that is reported in the
form of journal article
Another job related to the research is the journalist. Journalist is the one who record
what the researcher got, then he/she will report it in the form of factual report. Next job is the
book writer. The book writer is the one who read the article publish by the researcher, then
he/she will find the information about that to be written in the form of a book. Next is the
technolog. Technolog is the one who make useful of the reading by using technology.
Synthesize and Analyze, whats the difference?
Synthesize is reading, summarizing, and publishing the articles from the researchers.
The purpose of synthesizing is to build the clear concept. While Analysis is done by the
researcher through the data analysis process. The purpose of analysis is breakdown the data in
order to find the system.
The contribution
The research has contribution to the development of knowledge when it is
successfully add, change, or revise the previous theories by providing the result of analysis
after the research has been done. Why the theories can be changed? Because there is a
research. And why the theories is different from the previous one? Because the tools and the
measurement used by the researcher is different.
