conceptions to pictures and demonstrate what it
means by their own language level.
Student will be able to identify words in
American accent, pronounce it and point it out
during listening activities.
Students will be able to summarize the video
clip content using new words mentioned during
listening to it.

Warm-up and Objective Discussion

Teacher will hang two maps on whiteboard, then will ask students to describe what
they see, without any clue of what our lesson for today, after that teacher will ask them
different question about geographic Concepts and its meaning, then he will start a
conversation about how do they face geography during their life, how much it impact
their lives, and how much do they think that geography is important, what are
applications for this specific since, and try to answer any question that might receive
during class.

Activity No.1

After finishing our discussion, Teacher will ask them to grab white paper and pen,
while he will start playing the chosen video clip, pointing out some conceptions that
maybe not clear and they stated it during the discussion, this video will contain just a
colorful material and sounds, without any other help that they will need to write down
what they are listening to, after finishing and he can observe they are stressed and
confused, Teacher will write key words on whiteboard and play the video one more
time.
Teacher will tell them his own story that related with Geography when he lost in
dessert and how he managed to survive, He will ask them to speak up and tell if they
faced something like that, or they know someone faced something like that. Using
technology tools.

Activity No.2

Teacher should prepare a Summarization for the lesson, using the new key vocabs that
they learned today, he will write it on whiteboard, and ask them to read it out, while
repeating the highlighted words 3 times, if he noticed that they didnt pronounce it
rightly, stop them and play this specific part of the video that present this specific
vocabs, Make it fun and use your sense to make it easier, notice that we are using
American accent, Teacher should pronounce words with Arabic accent all students
are Arabs- then pronounce it again with American accent, demonstrate the difference
and pick some individuals to try.
While doing this ask them to concentrate on the highlighted words, and what they
mean, answer their questions and provoke them to Ask and participate.

Assessment

Teacher will start to stress on some geographic concepts, explain it and ask students to
pick up the brain storming charts, grouping them in pairs and ask them to right down
how they might use geography in their daily life, after watching this video, do they
change their opinion about geography, and what applications do they think it might be
able to use geography science.
After filling brain storming charts, each pair will chose one of them to demonstrate
their final result, while they are speaking, teacher should ask them to use the new
conceptions that they learned and pronounce it with American accent, in order to make
it easier, Teacher will play the video one more time, asking them to mimic it and with a
prize to the one who will be able to mimic as fast as the video.

Activity No.3

Each learner will record five minutes with his own device, reading specific context that
teacher provide for them, the context that Teacher will provide is an Audio clip and ask
them to write it down and then record it again. Use American accent as much as you
can, especially words that we stressed on.
Any learner who can write down 4 essays about the four Famous Mountains in Sinai,
Egypt and how much they mean to people there, the history around them, and how
trips there are using those landscapes, Using specific books provided by teacher, will
gain 10% of the final grade of the quarter evaluation.
