Comparison between the effectiveness of the different concentrations of Tamarind

Juice and WD-40(control).
1. State the null hypothesis
Ho: There is no significant difference between the effectiveness of the
different concentrations of Tamarind juice and WD-40(control).
2. State the alternative hypothesis
Ha: There is a significant difference between the effectiveness of the different
concentrations of Tamarind juice and WD-40(control).

APPENDIX E
Photo documentation of making Tamarind Juice

1.Tamarind fruits were washed .

2.Washed tamarind were placed in a pan, covered with water and boiled until the skins
burst, about 20 minutes.

3.Tamarind fruits were transferred to a large bowl with half of the cooking liquid.

4.Tamarind fruits were mashed

5.Juice was strained into another bowl.

6.Strainer was placed with the Tamarind over the bowl and the rest of the cooking liquid
was poured in.

7.With the tamarind submerged in liquid, fruits were mashed once more, to force as much
of the pulp through the strainer.

8.Juice was strained once more.
