Celebrating 50 Years
Please join the family of Ken & Brenda Cloud for cake and a
celebration of their marriage at 4:00 on Saturday, Nov. 26, at
Climax Baptist Church (204 W. Lee Street, Climax). The happy
couple requests that your presence be your only gift to them.

Ladies Ministry Paint Party


The Ladies Ministry is hosting a Paint Party with April Pollock
Buffaloe on Friday, Dec. 9, starting at 6:00 PM. To sign up, go to

All door hangers are $25, which includes all paint and supplies.
Light appetizers and snacks will be served. We look forward to a

OFFICE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED


We are in need of some volunteers to help answer the phones on
Monday mornings. If you are available and willing to help one
Monday, please call the church office and sign up for a day.

Prayer Group
There will be a prayer group meeting in the Heritage Room each
Wednesday at 5:30 PM to pray for the Pastor Search Committee.
Everyone is welcome and invited to come pray.
Salvation Army Bell Ringers
The Salvation Army is looking for groups to help ring the bell. If your
Sunday School class would like to help, please contact Karen Elwell or
Chip Hall.
Community Food Drive
The Mission Committee is asking that everyone help replenish the
Community Food Bank by bringing non perishable food items to
Sunday School on Nov. 20th and 27th. There is a box outside the
office for items to be placed in. Food Giant will match donations made
for Our Local Food Bank.
Music Notes
The Saints Alive Choir traveled to Moultrie on Nov. 19th to enjoy
fellowship and lunch with the senior choirs at Moultrie First Baptist
and Valdosta First Baptist. We were entertained by The Colquitt
County Arts Center Show Choir and the Moultrie First Baptist Church
Bell Choir. We had a marvelous time and look forward to singing
Christmas music for our church on Dec. 4th. On Dec. 12th we will be
singing Christmas favorites and playing bells at Willow Ridge and
Bainbridge Healthcare. On Dec. 19th we will sing and play bells at
Memorial Manor and Riverside. In His Service, Myra.

Saints Alive - Sunday, Dec. 4th during the 11:00 service.
Childrens Choir - Sunday, Dec. 11th during the evening service.
Chancel Choir - Sunday, Dec. 18th during the evening service.

Family Fun Night- Christmas Crafts


6:30 pm Fellowship Hall

We will be making three crafts that will be perfect for gifts or


keepsakes. To ensure we have enough supplies, please RSVP to
the church office by November 28. There are spots for everyone,
so be sure to invite friends! We will finish our craft night with
cookies and a reading of the Nativity Story, so it is a perfect
opportunity for those in our community who are unchurched to
hear the Gospel.

Children's Christmas Breakfast


Sunday, December 18 @ 9:45 am

We are inviting everyone to bring a breakfast item and join us for


our annual Children's Christmas Breakfast. We will enjoy
fellowship and celebrating God's Greatest Gift together,
concluding with a shortened Sunday School lesson for the kids at
10:20 am. Preschoolers will be dismissed to the preschool
hallway while elementary children will gather in the Fellowship
Hall. The church will provide milk, juice and paper products.
Hope to see you there!

Join us for a walk thru Bethlehem. Come and step


back in time as you take a guided tour of the village
of Bethlehem on the eve of the birth of the Savior.
You will interact with the people of Bethlehem on the
eve of Jesus' birth. Through their stories and lives you
will learn about the one true God, and His Son Jesus. December 10th. Sign up in the youth
building.

Cost: $100 due by December 4th. This
conference is available for students in grades 6-8.
January 14-16- Strength to Stand Student
Conference. Pigeon Forge, TN. Cost $150 due by
December 18th.
February 17-19 Disciple Now Weekend
