members of the Legislative Assembly are elected by the people who are more than
18 years of age. They are elected for a term of five years.

3. Give three differences between the Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha.
Ans. The differences between the Rajya Sabha and the Lok Sabha are as follows-

Ans. The Constitution of India provides for an independent judiciary. The Supreme
Court in New Delhi is the highest judicial body in our country. It gives the final
judgement in any legal case. There can be a maximum of 31 judges in the Supreme
Court. The highest position is that of the Chief Justice. The High Court is the highest
judicial body in a state.
5. Think and answer- Manu has lost a case in the High Court. However, he does
not think of it as the final judgement. Why?
6. Collect Information about the various Presidents of India and their tenure.
