As photographers and artists, we were all raised by the light. Born to the craft in moments of
wonder at a silken sky or a pool of liquid sun spilling over our hands, we grew into it by studying
the dance of luminosity and shade on every surface that they touched. Now our bliss lies in the
slender thread of light stitched across the crest of a wave, in the seam of gold flung over the
rim of a darkening valley, in the warmer shadow of one hand cupped and held inside another.

They rise in us as tides and move in us like winds, they spark in us like flames and soothe us like the earth
beneath our feet. The elements both surround and fill us, beckoning like the wilderness itself and awakening
our passion for adventure. Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit: each infuses our work with its own energy and
life, inspiring us to explore and refine this extraordinary magic of capturing the light. Our newest presets draw
the richness and power of the elements into each of your images, allowing them to tell their own stories of
creation and connection. Weve produced them in the hopes that, like a journey into the woods or a night spent
beneath brilliant stars, they naturally awaken your senses and renew your love for the craft.
Pouring through all elements and lighting them up from within, Spirit is a force of nature, a gypsy traveler, a
nomad whose home is the world itself. Her hair loose and the pockets of her rustling skirts filled with brambles
and seeds, Spirit streams through our imaginations with her endless creativity and carefree joy. Our Spirit
presets infuse images with a light, bohemian feel by enriching warm pastel tones and delicate hues reminiscent
of wild plum blossoms.

LIGHT & TRUTH

Richard and I believe that the true journey of this art form is to uncover something
uniquely brilliant in each of us our voice. The photographer speaks in images, and so
finding our voice means cultivating a definitive, evocative, and original style in our work
while collectively refining the subtlety and power of our craft. How do we do this? Quite
simply, our voice emerges clearly only after years of hard work rigorous practice, serious
reflection, continuous study, occasional failure, and sometimes periods of heartbreak.
While the absolute truth is that theres no quick or easy way around any of this, it helps
to know that with courage and curiosity we can discover enormous pleasures throughout
this complex journey of artistic growth.

For the beautiful image, simplicity is everything. And yet in the beginning, or during
periods of growth in our career, the purity and elegance of simplicity can become utterly
obscured by technical confusion, disorganized shoots, and complicated post-production
that leads to overworked and underwhelming images. And while it hasnt happened
overnight for us, this journey is slowly but surely yielding an astonishing gift the ability
to speak volumes with our work. We understand now that timeless portraiture is most
often defined not by artifice or pretense but by simplicity, clarity, and honesty. The very
best images evoke a sense of effortlessness, while simultaneously reflecting the creative
mastery of the artist behind the lens.

We believe that if you work hard to develop confidence in your work and this art form
while maintaining a humble presence, beautiful images will follow. In addition, always
practice patience. Weve been in business for over twelve years and are still evolving. If
weve learned anything, its that finding your creative voice takes time, dedication, and a
