ALUDEIED BASE 7851 A

Location: EF-A1 -
Specification
External roof mounted twin fan unit manufactured from aluzinc. Outlet
grilles are positioned on opposite sides of the fan casing to prevent
wind pressures effecting fan performance. Fan assemblies
incorporate forward curved centrifugal impellers directly driven by
BS5000 motors fitted with airflow fail monitors. Fans are suitable for
operation in ambient temperatures up to 60C. All units are suitable
for internal and external use and may be installed up to a maximum
angle of 5. (Care must be taken to ensure the back draught dampers
operate correctly).

Specification
Wall mounted extract fan, manufactured from ABS material. The fan is
to have an externally weather louvre and a thermally actuated antibackdraught shutter at the rear of the fan and the impeller at the front.
The fans are controlled via a full range of integral sensors matched to
an external remote controller providing on/off, extract, variable / fixed
economy speed, auto / manual functions.

Duct mounted twinfan unit for internal use, with a high efficiency
forward curved centrifugal impeller, sensors fitted in each scroll
monitor air flow, detect and signal flow failure. Direct drive motors
fitted with thermal protection and manufactured to BS5000. Class B
insulation and sealed for life bearings. Air is discharged into a
common outlet plenum chamber through separate shutter system
which prevents blow back through the standby fan. The casing is
manufactured from galvanised steel, internal faces of the case are
lined with flame retardant acoustic material. The fan unit incorporates
an integral auto-changeover controller which provides 6 hour duty
shared operation and automatic selection of the standby fan should
the duty fan fail. Fault indication to a remote fail indicator (supplied) is
provided via volt free contacts of a relay. The integral run-on timer
allows the fan to run-on for a pre-determined time after the initial
source (eg. coupled light switch) has been switched off. The run-on
period is adjustable between 1 and 60 minutes.

Axus 400mm diameter long cased circular axial flow fan with access
door manufactured from pre-galvanised mild steel. Fan incorporates
inlet and outlet flanges with pre-drilled bolt holes and an external
standard safe area terminal box Wiring provided to case.. Impeller
blades manufactured from aluminium mounted in an aluminium hub as
standard. The motor is 240V single phase, single speed, totally
enclosed fan-cooled, protected to IP55, foot mounted, class F
insulated and has sealed for life bearings. The motor is fitted with a
PTC. NOTE: This unit cannot be inverter
speed controlled.
