Table 5: Learning styles

Make notes about activities you observe in the classroom which use the learning styles
below:
Auditory
Visual
Kinesthetic

Math

Science

Reading

Explain the mathematical

concepts and for what we use it.
Using colors, pictures, and
flashcards to teach the students a
lessons.
Let the students move from their
places and let them to sing a song
that related to the lesson.

Listing and repeating skills.

Playing verbal games

and reading aloud.
Using a speed reading
strategy.

Showing problem solving and

something from whole world.
The students using their hand
so we let them to create a craft
activities related to the
lessons.

We let the students to

use sight word string
ups to build the words.

Answer the following questions:

Which learning styles did all the children seem to enjoy and why?
Kinesthetic, because the children need and enjoy the activities that need
from them to move or using their hand to do not just sitting and listing to
the teacher because they feel bored and then they misbehavior.

Why do you think the teacher incorporates a variety of learning styles for the
children?
Because each students have a different abilities and behaviour so the
classroom have different level of the students who are in high level, middle,
and low level.

Notice which activities are repeated with a variety of learning styles e.g. read a
story, listen to a story, act the story, draw the story. Can you find other examples
e.g. math or science
In science session each students using their google classroom account so
each of them have an account, after they take a lesson they have an activity
in google classroom, the students must submit their work on it.

How can teachers improve student learning by using a range of learning styles?
Use a variety of sources that enable the student to learning through rich
and varied range of educational materials. These educational materials:
books and sources of independent reading may include directed and
writing programs and means of e-learning and technical resources.

Exploring on possible activities to develop

mathematical skills and concepts using these
materials

Magnets

Attracted
Not attracted

Giving the students some

tools to learn the things that
gravitate toward the magnet
of which are not attracted

Rubber insects

Types of insects

If the lesson of the insects it is

possible that the student
recognizes the shape of each
insect and colors also.

Flower model

Parts of flowers

The students will going to learn

each part in flower model and from
