General Notes
A

All trip inputs have PCS alarms not shown

on C&Es. Maintenance and operational
overrides do not affect PCS alarms.

Handswitch backlights and local panel

indicators are not shown on C&Es.

I/O related only to sequence logic is not

shown on C&Es.

All I/O is de-energised to operate unless

otherwise indicated or a reset.

In a 2oo3 voting scheme, if one detector goes into fault

then the voting scheme reduces to 1oo2.

All Maintenance Overrides (MOS) are software

switches on the PCS screen. A MOS may only be
applied if the associated MOS Enable hard wired
Switch is ON. A MOS Enable Switch may be set to
ON only when the Master MOS Enable Keyswitch is
ON. The Master MOS Enable Keyswitch may then be
withdrawn.

General Notes
A

All trip inputs have PCS alarms not shown

on C&Es. Maintenance and operational
overrides do not affect PCS alarms.

Handswitch backlights and local panel

indicators are not shown on C&Es.

I/O related only to sequence logic is not

shown on C&Es.

All I/O is de-energised to operate unless

otherwise indicated or a reset.

In a 2oo3 voting scheme, if one detector goes into fault

then the voting scheme reduces to 1oo2.

All Maintenance Overrides (MOS) are software

switches on the PCS screen. A MOS may only be
applied if the associated MOS Enable hard wired
Switch is ON. A MOS Enable Switch may be set to
ON only when the Master MOS Enable Keyswitch is
ON. The Master MOS Enable Keyswitch may then be
withdrawn.
