Seed Germination Organic & Inorganic

IntroductionDeveloped seed germination rates on inorganic and organic fertilizers are observed the
growth matter. Which puts in with plant and how the fertilizers affect the growth within different
methods that the substances are placed. Soil can affect the physical and biological properties of
the plant and could develop the size known as the pore space within the physical properties.
Quoted from the article called the pore space, which has a direct effect on the movement of air
and water, the ability of the soil to supply nutrients to plants, and the amount of water available
to the plant. Nutrients tend to come from the organic materials that are resulted from sufficient
developed material seen with a large growth period so if the plants growth is seen there would be
a nutrient development in the soil of the plant. The article provides research Without these
nutrients supplied by the soil or applied as inorganic fertilizers, organically by manures, and
other vegetative materials, plant growth would cease. When observing the slow growth of the
plant it can be identified that, it is identified as an inorganic material due to the missing nutrients
that are not in the soil for the plant growth. To finalize, the inorganic or organic material certainly
depends from the obtained nutrients provided to the soil.

Inorganic and organic fertilizers, identified as different substances that may have the
same purpose but may function differently when applying into the nutrients development. The
article includes this quote Organic fertilizers may cost more than chemical or inorganic

fertilizers, because they are less concentrated, supplying fewer nutrients pound for pound. to
have different ways to support each produced organic fertilizer that mostly obtains many plant
nutrients. Additionally, not only organic material has nutrients but is provided from the inorganic
material that the fungi and bacteria have when the nutrients are released for the use of the plant.
The provided quote can help support the description Without these nutrients supplied by the soil
or applied as inorganic fertilizers, organically by manures, and other vegetative materials, plant
growth would cease. Technically this will support the plant fertilizers main purpose on how it
has affected the plant growth when including nutrients in the soil level. Identifying each purpose
of both inorganic and organic can be listed as also harmful, for example, if the organic fertilizer
is applied with a large amount, it can damage the plants, but if the fertilizer does not contain
much nutrients, it can also damage the plant growth. To finalize each purpose for each substance
there are different purposes into benefiting but also causing damage to each plant growth.

Experimental Design
Problem Question: Will seed germination rates vary depending on the type of
fertilizers we mix with the soil?

Hypothesis: If we use both, inorganic and organic, for two separate seed groups,
then the group with the inorganic fertilizer will germinate faster because they will
receive nutrients quicker than the group with organic fertilizer and control group
due to nutrient concentration.

I.V: Type of seeds and amount of water/sunlight the groups receive

D.V: The rate of seed germination and type of fertilizer

C.G: Seeds without any type of fertilizer
E.G: Seeds with inorganic fertilizer and seeds with organic fertilizer
Materials and Methods: This experiment will require plastic soda bottles, water, inorganic and
organic fertilizer, seeds, bone meal for organic fertilizer, soil, pipe cleaner. This lab will be set up
by cutting the second bottle and place a new bottle on top. Afterwards the water are placed first
and secondly the pipe cleaner that will connect both bottles. This will sequent the soil will be
mixed with bone meal and finally the seeds in between. To view these bottles there would be the
two bottles one with fertilizer and another with no fertilizer showing the plant growth.

Conclusion: In conclusion, the organic fertilizer included the bone meal that made the seeds to
not grow allowing the inorganic fertilizer to outgrow the progress. Throughout this week, there
has been some growing data to confirm that plant A inorganic with no fertilizer actually works
better if there is no bone meal added. Plant B did not show any results showing that the bone
meal does not function equally as it is supposed to. In this lab, the research team understood that

the bone mean has no use into applying if there would be no preferred results to each different
solutions into how each plant seed was processed.
