Questionnaire for SAP DR setup


1. What is the existing SAP landscape? How many servers (each product wise)
and SAP products are in place (for example ECC, CRM, BI BW etc.. are
products)
2. What is the existing size of the database in GB
3. Please specify the Operating System, Database, SAP Version of the existing
system.

Database Size:-250 GB
Overall Size of servers which are occupied is approx. 500GB

4. For the purpose of DR setup which application is being considered ? Is it


only ECC Production Environment? Or some more applications are also
being considered. Please specify.
5. What is the Recovery Point Objective (RPO) and Recovery Time Objective
(RTO) to be set for the DR
6. Is there any cluster in existing setup?
7. How many concurrent users and transactions are happening in on a given
day. Also specify the average load
8. Do you currently have access on live on existing production from outside
the premise?
9. Is there any load balancing done for ECC Production environment
10.Which methodology would you opt for or prefer for failover? automated
failover or manual failover activity process
11.What are the Number of SAPs for the production server
12.Please provide identification of the number of users module wise for the
purpose of load calculation. Also specify the ratio at which you would like
to allocate the users in case of disaster. i.e. whether you would like to
consider 100% transfer of users to the DR site or only 70% etc..

or not. Also mention whether the process is discrete manufacturing or
process industry or repetitive in nature.
3. Are the SAP OSS support services active
4. Total number of custom objects (RICEFs) or ABAP development objects
5. Average number of tickets or issues faced module wise
6. Total number of PRs and CRs in a given month and across the year
7. Which support module would you like to go for
a. 100% onshore
b. Combination of Onsite or Offshore (near shore)
c. 100% Offshore
8. Approximate number of transactions in a given month for SD (Invoices) and
MM modules
9. What is your existing TAX procedure? Is it TAXINN or TAXINJ
10.Are you looking forward to GST implementation? If yes then please specify
the duration by which you would like to finalise the same.
