A 'Holistic Program'

This 'holistic program' is intended to focus on 'wholeness' of the person, their

family, community and nation by Healing the Nation-One Family At A Time.
To accomplish this the program needs a solid foundation; needs to be simple and needs to
make sense.
Maslow was a Psychologist who came up with a hierarchy of the needs of each person.

Wholeness is represented when all these needs are being met. We all have these needs
regardless of race, creed, color or culture. Our needs are inter-connected.
For and individual, a family and a nation to reach their full potential we must meet all of
these needs simultaneously.
Maslow shows our Basic Needs as Physiological Needs shown at the bottom must be
met first since they are basic for sustaining our lives.

1. Physiological Needs include clean air, water, healthy food source, cleanliness,
efficient waste disposal and adequate age-appropriate sleep.
2. Safety & Security Needs include safe housing, integrity of family, morality (absence
of abuse), employment, financial resources, security of body (health needs like
immunization, well-baby clinics, adequate health supplies & services), ownership of
home /property, land and resources.
3. Love & Belonging Needs include friendships, family, intimacy, morality, sexual
relationship. This includes meeting the social needs that each of us has.
social needs are met in family and community.
A great example of these social needs met in community is when a group goes
hunting as part of the course curriculum in school where needs for basic needs,
security and safety needs, spiritual needs and self-actualization are met by youth
engaging in one event.
4. Esteem Needs include feeling accepted first by self and family and others in your
community and nation.
5. Self-Actualization Needs includes our spiritual needs.
These needs are expressed in our creativity, sexual expression, morality, positive
connection to self, family, community and nation and your Creator-God.
* The hierarchy of needs are represented in four directions and the white cross of our logo:
Black = Physical & Safety Needs: addressing needs include safe, clean water, healthy
food supplies, safe homes, buildings and infra-structure, access to health services.
Yellow = Mental Health Needs - & tackling the addiction crisis.
Green = Social Needs- inclusiveness in contributing to family, community and nation.
Blue = Emotional Needs - healing the legacies of a 'bruised spirit' from abuse and loss.
White = Self-actualization Needs - realized for creativity, spirituality, sexuality,
morality and peace & reconciliation with self and others - forgiveness.
