game
Materials: Pencil, paperclip, stack of picture cards
Directions: Student flips a picture card, then spins
the spinner. Wherever the paperclip stops the
student follows the rule. For example, student flips
a picture of a dog and paper clip stops at tell me
the ending sound student will say /g/. I will
often play this game as a quick warm up before our
guided reading lesson. This game reinforces
phonemic concepts that should have been mastered.
