Quick Setup Guide

Thank you for purchasing Buffalos LinkStation Duo.
1. Quick Installation
1) Connect the LinkStation Duo with an Ethernet cable and an AC adapter.

2) Set the power mode switch on

the rear of the LinkStation Duo to
ON and wait until the power LED
on the front panel stops blinking.

3) Insert the LinkNavigator CD into

your computer. The Setup Wizard
should launch automatically. (If not,
open the CD and click on the
LinkStation icon. )

4) The wizard will guide you through

installation.

Do not set it to AUTO at this

stage. The AUTO position will be
usable after initial setup.

2. Opening Web Admin Tool (for more options)

1) After installing the LinkNavigator software, your PC will have a NAS Navigator icon on the desktop.
On a Mac, it will appear in the Dock.
2) Clicking on the icon opens NAS Navigator2, the LinkStations client utility.
Right click on the LinkStations icon in NAS Navigator2 and select Open Web Admin.
3) Enter "admin" and "password" for the user name and password, then click Login to enter the Web Admin
Tool.
Please see the User Manual on your CD for more help and configuration options.
If unavailable, it can be downloaded from the Support section of the Buffalo website
"www.buffalotech.com".

1) Schlieen Sie die LinkStation Duo

mit einem Ethernet-Kabel und
einem Netzadapter an.

1. Snelle installatie
1) Sluit de LinkStation Duo aan op

achterzijde van de LinkStation

3) Plaats de LinkNavigator CD in uw
